Hi, I am one of your partners for the read and comment profile swap. Good Luck in school. I too am in school, but older than you I have decided to go back for my Masters degree, it keeps me very busy. I am sure architecture in your fourth year is very challenging. You mentioned your interest in Japan, have you been there? I would love to visit Asia one day. Enjoy swap-bot

Re: Read and Comment on your partner's profile

Dear Riechan/Valerie

Your studies are most impressive. You must be a very creative person. Architecture studies are very difficult to pursue in many Canadian universities as it is a highly competitive program in which to enroll. Congratulations!

I too enjoyed Notting Hill and Shawshank redemption. If you enjoyed Shawshank you might enjoy "The Power of One". Sad, but powerful.

I appreciate the simplicity of some facets of Japanese culture. I have never travelled in Asia, but would love to.

I don't know if English is your first language, being form Belgium, but if it is not, you certainly have amazing writing skills!

Glad to hear that you like to have fun. People who enjoy life, have an enviavle capacity to spread joy to others. Always nice people to be around because they cause positive synergies.

Thanks for sharing your story.

cheers

Hi! I'm one of your partners from Read and Comment on Your Partner's Profile. I'm new to swap bot and this is my first completed swap! I see you are also fairly new, so welcome to both of us!

I also am intrigued by Asian culture, especially Japan, and all things about it. I have read some books about the Geisha life and it's interesting. I also love Pandas. They are about my fave animal.

I have a daughter about your age and she's big into manga and kawaii, also. She's in college now and I'm very proud of her. My son's in high school, and loves computer games and working out. I have a boyfriend who's quite a bit younger than me!

I see you make poppets? What are they? I'm also a crocheter, and I make a lot of amigurumi, love to give them away to good homes. Hopefully, i'll meet some people on swapbot that love them as much as I do.

It's interesting to me that you live in Belgium. I've never been there, though I lived in Europe for several years, in Germany, England, and France. I worked with some Belgium women when I was in Germany and the culture seems open-minded and fun.

I like to try out a lot of different crafts, too. I'm hoping to one day learn metal-working and stained glass making. That might not happen until I retire, as they look more expensive for supplies and lessons than the crafts I'm into now (crochet, quilting, painting, beading!).

Anyway, it was wonderful to read your profile. Nice to meet you and I hope we get to have a swap together sometime soon, as you'd be fun to send to!

Love from, Amigirl

it's just 'cause my birthday is in November, so I was 17 in September when I started, but quickly turned 18, like everyone who has a birthday in fall.

Chiara on Sep 7, 2010:

I sounds strange to me because here we start at 19, or at most at 18, while you started ay 17.

Riechan on Sep 7, 2010:

well I'll be 21 in November... I started when you are supposed to start college =D after my 6th year in school.
