Some bad news: my mother just died from a long disease and right now I'm trying to cope with it and move on but I'm behind in everything, so I hope you understand if I'm a little late in sending the things. I'll continue making crafts and selling but right now I need some time. I won't be involved in any new swaps for a while. Thanks for your understanding.

My name is Silvia. I'm a Pisces with Libra ascendant, also a water Ox, my feng shui element is metal, my Native American totem is the wolf, my shadow totem is the shark and my moon celtic sign is Nion. I'm from Manresa, just a 30 min. drive from Barcelona. I'm married to a great man called Miguel Angel and we have a daughter called Alba who's one year old. She's the prettiest, smartest and sweetest thing! Right now I work part time to be with my daughter and do some crafting. So many ideas that have to be made! We live in a big flat which we have reformed and decorated in a practical but original style. We also have to yorkie toys named "Yumi" and "Ginger" so we are a big family.

I started working part-time but I try to find some time for crafting when my daughter is taking a long nap or with her daddy. We could finally solve the internet problems but right now I need some time and slow down a bit. My intention is to have a virtual shop ( my website ) and go to fairs. My mom used to be very good at sewing and we had plans of selling together baby stuff. She made beautiful bibs, little aprons, bags, towels... with embrodery or cross stitch. Actually, she could do anything, and really well. So that is why I want to continue making things. We had so many ideas... that I'll try to make them true. I make all sort of crafts but my favourite is making fantasy stuff, like fairies, pixies, elves, wizards, unicorns, dragons, mermaids… and all kinds of things made of polymer clay. I try to use natural materials in my creations: wood, stones and fabric in different colors to give a certain type of energy. Other crafts I make: dollhouse miniatures ( specially food and holidays stuff ), roomboxes, shadowboxes, shrines and scenes, pom pom creatures, japanese crafts ( kawaii things and stuffies ), felt dolls, needle felt animals, fabric painting, holiday crafts ( Christmas and Halloween are my favourite ), paper crafts, stationary and little things like hair clips, paper clips, notebooks, boxes, pillboxes, pins, badges and brooches, mobile charms, magnets, children and kawaii jewelry, bookmarks, incense and candle holders, photo frames…

I really enjoyed all the Harry Potter books which I started reading to see what all this fuss was about and then I got really hooked on them, because of the rich witchy world. I also like "The secret", "The pillars of the Earth", "The perfume", "The lord of the rings", all the Paulo Coelho books ( but my favourite is "The Alchemist" ). I like other authors as Christian Jack, Roald Dahl, Anne Rice... I love reading about fantasy, mistery, history, spiritual and the supernatural. My husband also loves books ( fantasy type ) so our house is like a library. We love reading!

I like pop music from the 80's, Madonna, French and Spanish hip-hop, disco, chill-out, soundtracks, specially all the Danny Elfman ones and from movies I like ( Gladiator, Blade runner, TLOTR, Harry Potter, Ghost in the shell... ) but right now I’m more into the Baby Einstein thing… LOL!

We love watching films and we have a great collection in our living room. I like Alfred Hitchcock , Billy Wilder, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Tim Burton ( I just love his rich and creative world ), Pedro Almodovar, Night Shyamalan,Hayao Miyazaki ... I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, good comedies, adventures and horror( not the boody type ), manga and animated.Favourie films: "Rebecca", "Star Wars" ( the old ones ), "TLOTR", "Chocolat"... so many! I also like musicals: "Chicago", "Singin' in the rain" ( I just love the main song ), "Moulin Rouge", "Grease", “Victor or Victoria”, "The producers"... there are also so many!

FAVORITE COLORS

Pink, orange ( I like combining these two colors ), purple, apple green, turquoise/teal/aqua and yellow. I like brown but combined with a vivid color like turquoise/teal/aqua or fushia and the combination aqua/teal and pastel pink. But I definitely like all the colors if they are well combined.

MY "I DON'T LIKE" LIST

I like reading this on other people’s profile so you make sure you don’t send them anything they wouldn’t enjoy getting. Here’s mine: Disney stuff ( stickers, toys, plushies... ) but I love the films! What a contradiction :D It's not that I hate it but I prefer kawaii stuff. Teacher stickers or stickers about cars, teams, sports, transports... anything that is not kawaii enough. Perfume ( but I do like scented and flavoured things ), "cheap" looking resin figures and, please, don't send food. And I’ll be adding more things as I remember them ; )
