Hello all! :]
I'm a 2011 graduate of Loyola University Chicago, and will soon be starting my first full-time job. While I majored in Advertising, my job isn't likely to allow my creativity to thrive, so I wanted to get back into swapping because I love projects! When I'm not working, I'm writing about charity and nonprofits for an online magazine, seeing concerts (would relive Coldplay at Lollapalooza 2011 a million times if I could) and going out with my friends in the city.
Last year, I studied abroad in Rome and traveled to 12 countries throughout Europe for roughly 5 months. Backpacking was one of the scariest, but most exciting things I've ever done. Some of my favorite countries that I visited (besides Italia!) were Spain, England, and Germany. I love listening to different languages, even if I can't understand them all very well.
What I love? Everything purple, chocolate, wine, live music, taking pictures, eyeliner, Vera Bradley patterns, the people in my life, glitter, black/white patterns, cute things, mini things, playing scrabble, rainboots, Chicago, snowboarding, sailing, warm weather, writing.
I love scrapbooking and making fun little gifts for friends. I enjoy making collages, working with images that are already made and putting them together to create something new. I've taken a ceramics handbuilding class which was also fun. I enjoy painting as well, although I'm the first to admit I'm not particularly amazing at it. I'm currently working on a project involving wine corks and glitter- I'm pretty sure you can never have too much glitter.
