May 17- a note to let you know that I may not be around much in the next couple of weeks but I won't be giving up SWAP-BOT. I'm a believer!

UPDATE Mar 5, this swapper @postcardz was suspended by the admin--I wasn't the only person who had a problem with her! I want to thank the site owners for being so diligent in keeping Swap-bot a fun place! Jan 3, 2012 I just received a 3 rating from a swapper that I am extremely upset about. Both she and the moderator have been informed about her unfairness. She has even threatened me with a one! People like this can ruin the swapbot experience but fortunately my experience is usually fun. I refuse to let it spoil my enjoyment.

Dec 2011 -- I received a cute postcard from nmterrier. However, it doesn't say what swap. Please let me know so I can rate you!.

Dec 2011 -- I'm just coming out of my swapping slump! I like swapping.

July 2011 -- I'm going to cut back to minimal swapping for the summer. If you would like to send me a message, please be patient because I won't be checking in every day. I believe I've sent out all my swaps but if you haven't received one from me, please let me know!

2011 New Year's resolution Be more active and PROMPT on Swap-bot. UPDATE Feb 2011. I'm already faltering. Must focus more! I did great for awhile there. UPDATE: April 2011, I'm back on track! UPDATE: June 2011. I'm flagging late on too many swaps. I'm so sorry, partners! I'm sending them as fast as I can.

I'm not that artistic or crafty but I appreciate and admire the work of others. I love to dabble myself.

My children are grown and I'm reaching "mature" age. I have 6 grandchildren.

I live in Virginia, but I have traveled and I love postcards from other places. Love to read genre fiction. I'm also a writer.

I love ATCs even though I can't make very good ones.

Origami is cool. I just discovered an interest in it. I also like Zentangles.

Interesting jewelry. But I DON'T have pierced ears.

I just discovered I love the look of "Zetti" art! It's based on the art of Teesa Moore. I've seen bookmarks, postcards, atc's, dolls, etc made by people on Swap-bot. They're a lot of work, but I'm going to try to learn.

2/3/2011 currently I have 2 postcards I am uncertain of what swap they belong to. One is from Silela in Michigan. the Other is from Bevmac in Winnepeg. I'd love to rate you if I can find out what swap it is.

I always send and I always rate. If it's been awhile, please give me a poke. Sometimes things get busy around here; however I want it to remain fun for you and for me.

I've been a swap bot member since Dec 2008 and it has been a great experience for the most part.

I strive to fulfill the expectations of each swap I enter. If you don't feel that I have complied, please send me a PM and I'll try to work it out with you. I NEVER 'expect' a heart. It's pleasant to get one but I do this for the fun of swapping.

By the same token, I give out Hearts when I feel especially heartened (pun intended! grin) by the gift. Giving you a five means that I appreciated your gift and I was happy to receive it. PLEASE don't question my reasons for not giving you a heart! My reasons are my own and do not reflect on you or your offering. According to the rules of Swap-bot, no one can EXPECT a heart.

I love swap-bot and hope this won't keep me out of any swaps.
