I'm married and mom of 4 older children.

My interests: I enjoy going to car shows (recently bought a Porsche & Corvette), reading books on my Kindle, going to the gun range, kickboxing, love all sorts of stationery/letter writing pads, pen palling, trying out new kinds of pens, cooking, dish cloths, cute writing paper, deco tapes, post-it notes, travel mugs, handmade envies, bubble envies, perfume samples, Starbucks, chocolate with almonds, hair scrunchies and so much more! My favorite colors are purple and blue. I prefer silver vs. gold jewelry.

I'm not really into anything that doesn't have a purpose. I don't collect amis, knick-knacks, dolls, atcs, dotees, or anything else that just gets looked at. I like things I can use.

I was born & raised in Hawaii. Spent most of my adult life in California and have been living in Arizona for the last 7 years. Has it been that long?

Randoms about me: I love hanging out with my girlfriends chatting away at coffee shops. I dance in the kitchen while I'm cooking. I get a stupid commercial tune stuck in my head and I'll sing it all day and annoy myself and everyone around me. :) I believe I'm a very loyal friend unless you teach me otherwise. I cry when I see the ASPCA commercials with the abused animals and sad music. I laugh too loud watching Saturday Night Live.

I don't craft, but I do make my own envelopes on occasion and I pen pal a lot! I try to re-use mailing packaging as much as possible if its in good shape, so don't be alarmed if the envie looks recycled. :)

I'm a huge animal lover. We have 2 dogs - Angus (rat terrier) and Teddy (long hair chihuahua). I'm big on animal rescue. I've fostered for many animal rescues in California and Arizona .

I enjoy a lot of different types of music, but don't have a favorite genre. I'm not a fan of country music though.

My favorite tv shows are Bones, Psych, Criminal Minds, Anderson, NCIS: Los Angeles, SNL, Dateline, and I started watching OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) and I'm enjoying it!

The Time Traveler's Wife, The Art of Racing in the Rain, Molokai, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Last Lecture, The Invisible Wall, One Thousand White Women, Honolulu to name a few. I can sometimes get into chicklit too.

I usually enjoy any comedy movie starring alums from SNL. I also like feel good movies and chick flicks like The Proposal, The Blind Side, 13 Going on 30, etc. I also like movies that bring out emotions like Passion of the Christ, My Sister's Keeper, etc. OK - I guess I like all kinds of movies except horror, animated, and extremely violent movies.

I don't appreciate dishonesty in others. I think dishonest people live a lifestyle that I cannot relate to. With that said, if something I owe you doesn't show up, please, please, please let me know. It will almost always be the postal service, not my lack of getting to the post office. As much as I love swapping, I still know how to do it moderately which will fit with my budget, my schedule and my family's schedule.
