2017 has been great so far (if I don't fixate on world news;-). Travelled to Surinam, got registered for my second Mandala art class and now called as a potential juror for a big trial - yikes. Hope your year is stimulating as well.
Got bored of my traditional bio.
3 ways I have been injured: 1) stung by a stingray in Nicaragua 2) a hoary marmot charged me on a Mount Robson hike - in cowardly fashion, I ran and flipped over a log, backpack and all - my right knee still doesn't work its best 3) got a sea urchin stuck in my knee and my husband kindly picked the spines out for me.

My friend and I have designed a local group called Thrift Shop in a Box. This is basically a rotating thrift store - where a bin of gently used items starts with one woman. She takes what she wants and adds in what she wants then passes it next person, etc., until it gets back to the originator of the box. It is always fun.
