Mamabemus

Just a little note to let everyone know I'm slowing way down on swapping. I will still be doing swaps, just not as many. If you see one you think I'll love please feel free to send me an email or a message on facebook.

Please note that if you are in a swap and get GrannySimpson and Me both as partners feel free to combine postage. She is my mom and we live in the same house, which is why I use a PO Box for my address. We don't join too many of the same ones but it has come up a couple of times.

I am a stay at home mom of 5 busy kids. I collect rubber ducks, smurfs, stamps, spoons, stickers, elongated pennies and friends. I love crafts, penpaling, reading, movies, traveling, and games.

I like romance books and mystery books. My favorite are the romantic suspense (Harlequin Intrigue or Harlequin Romantic Suspense). Nothing scary to give me nightmares. I also love to shop in the young adult section for fantasy books, just because they are interesting but don't require too much effort to follow.

I am addicted to Discovery Health, especially shows about babies and births. I also like NCIS to name a few of my favs. I am a big fan of So You Think You Can Dance, although I don't care for most other reality shows. I also love to watch NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt JR is my favorite driver. I don't get much time to watch television and often don't bother.

I have tried most types of crafts. The only ones I don't care for are knitting and crochet. I'm not artistic, just crafty.

Lately I have been sewing quilts. Not difficult ones but fun none the less. I would love to receive patterns for simple quilts. I love to be able to use scraps. I am not good at aplique (see I can't even spell it) but I try.

My husband is the most fantastic man in the world (Yes I know I'm biased)

He works very hard in an automotive parts factory making headlights.

He enjoys aircraft and sci-fi. He reads alot, mostly war adventure. He loves to play video games, mostly war adventure.

Here's a little about my kids. Please note if I am involved in a kids swap feel free to pick a kid. just let me know which kid to give it to. thanks.

Nico (age 18): He has Aspergers Syndrome. He loves legos and airplanes. He is obsessed with natural disasters (volcanos, tornados, earthquakes, etc)

Jayden (age 12): He is into baseball, and all sports. He loves Bakugan and Pokemon. He likes video games and doing crafts. He is also into Legos.

Karlin (age 10): She loves DANCE. She likes everything girly and her favorite color is purple. She loves doing crafts and art projects. she is also into Horses and wants to learn to ride.

Cole (age 8): He likes all cartoons. He is into Legos. He especially likes anything military and almost everything he owns right now is camoflage. If it didn't start out that way it will be once he gets paint!!!

Abigail (age 5): She's just cute. She likes Diego and Dora. She loves to play with little houses and dollies. She loves music and art.

I am always willing to do private or one/one swaps. I swap mini duckies, stickers, stamps, friendship books, labelbags, x-slips, postcards and many other things. If you'd like a swap just pm me.

Used Stamps- I am looking for US stamps that are between 20-44 cents (original value). I have realized my collection is missing alot from this time. I also collect stamps from around the world but tend to limit my collection to about 10 countries.

Elongated pennies: if you send duplicates that is also great because then I have an extra to swap. There is only one place in my town to buy them so it limits how often I can swap.
