About Me
2/17/2011-I'm back after a swap vacation that lasted a couple years. Job & home changed twice during that period. I love ATC's but I'm going to take it slow for a while. Glad to be back. 12/15 I would like to make note of the fact when I sign up for a postcard swap, I make them. I don't buy them. I prefer getting handmade ones in return. Thank you.
Avid visual journalist. Paper enthusiast. Also enjoy beading and journal quilts. Lately I've been painting,collaging and journaling on canvas.
Born in San Francisco. Love anything to do with the City by the Bay.The skyline, movies filmed there, street maps, Ghiradelli chocolate, the Japanese Tea Gardens, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, the row houses, Golden Gate Bridge,etc.
My favourite colour is orange. I like Asian art, paper and atc's. I like dragonflies and pears in my art. And have recently started collecting penguins. I love dark chocolate and prefer coffee to tea.
I buy a lot of art books that relate to ATC's, altered books, vintage art, altered imagery and collage.
Please do me a favour...do not tailor make your atc's to fit my profile. I want to see what you like to do. You're one of the reasons I love to swap. You're art inspires me, okay? Thanks.

Hi! Thanks for sending such nice cards along with your swaps. When I saw your name in the Altered Text swap I thought you sounded familiar, and now I know why! I am still hoarding a card that you sent in a swap about 2 years ago! LOL! It had a painted ATCish card stuck on the front. I liked it so much I have it hanging in my craft area! So THANKS!
You are the first profile I've read that has actually said, "Don't tailor make your ATC according to my profile." I totally agree...I like what I like as anyone, but it's great to see other people's talents, thoughts, and idea's. I wouldn't be a swapper if I only wanted to see stuff I like...Thanks, for adding that in there....
