I work in a public library and love to read (of course). I'm 42 years old and have a 17 year old daughter who use to like to do crafts with me, but has other priorities now, like boys :). Since my daughter is a senior in highschool now, life kicked into high gear. Also my 4 year old cousin is living with us while her momma is deployed. So life really went super sonic. It's been a long time since we had a 4 year old in the house and routines are king around here. We have a dog named Pup, a cat named Mama Kitty and a tortoise named Edward. I do a story time with 3 -5 year olds at the library. I love working with kids. I love to hear children laugh and watching them learn new things, make new friends and watch them grow. I also teach database and basic internet classes. I'm glad I found swap-bot and love to swap online.

Like mostly romance, suspense and paranormal books. Some of my favorite authors are Janet Evanovich, Nora Roberts, Jack Higgins, Vince Flynn, Lori Foster, Christine Feehan, Lora Leigh and many more.

Done a lot of crafts in my years, started with generic crafts with Girl scouts, picked up embroidery, went to cross stitch. Sewed a little. Then onto paper crafts. Mostly scrapbooking and ATC's and small personal scrapbooks to give away. Would like to try soldering. I just bought some supplies to try felting. Trying to make jewerly with found objects like buttons old jewely, etc.

Pretty paper, photography, old photgraphs, unusual odds and ends of anything to put in a scrapbook. old jewelry / costume jewelry, vintage, found objects, Travel, Chocolate, Spending time with family and friends,. bookmarks, quotes (especially funny ones)

In the past I have had mail misdirected. There are many streets in my city with the same name. There are 3 houses with the same house # and street name as mine. The difference is the zip code (you would think this would help the post office) and the prefix to the street (North). So, when mailing items, please be sure to include the North before the street name. So far, everyone has been nice about forwarding letters that have been misdirected, because I also return the favor, but I would like to avoid any confussion. Thank you for the attention to detail in advance.

I love comedies and romantic comedies and period movies. Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorites. Most things with Mel Gibson (even though he as gotten weird). Every time I see Top Gun with Tom Cruise, I think of high school. I like the movie Dave. Cartoons: Beauty and the Beast I think was my favorite Disney Film. Cinderella, too. Princess Diaries. Legally Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama, Anna and the King, Air Force One,High Road to China, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and many more. For my A to Z movie swap partners, it would be cool for you to do your favorite movie with the letter assigned. I love to see what other people like and I think it would make for an interesting collection.

I will always rate. If I didn't rate when you sent a swap, it means that I didn't get it, or I got confused and rated someone else instead. I will ask that you please rate me for swaps sent. This is the way I can tell if you have received it yet. If I don't get a rating, I will usually contact you to make sure you did receive it. I know things get lost in the mail, so all this is my way of double checking. I always send my swaps and try to communicate with my swap partners if there is a problem on either end.
