I'm a 33 year old librarian with two cats, six goldfish, and other assorted aquatic life. I've also been a veterinary technician, and my absolute favorite job ever was working with cows on a dairy farm.

In addition to crafting, I like cooking, camping, reading and photography. I am truly grateful for my family and friends - they're the best!

• Masks - I love to make and paint masks
• Beads - I sell jewelry to pay for the addiction ;)
• Tattoos - neeeed more iiiink
• Gears - Steampunk!
• Leather - I get most of mine from pow-wows or as gifts
• Feathers - my dashboard is getting filled with them...
• Wood, rocks, lichen, etc - yay nature walks!
• Art dolls - I even traded with Lynn Dewart once!
• Photography - I won a D-SLR in a contest!
• Postcards - getting mail is the best!
• Yarn - so many wonderful textures & colours
• Animals - of all kinds, particularly otters, coyotes, foxes, rabbits, owls and bats
• Monsters - RARR!
• Sushi - soooo good
• Interesting fabric - good thing I have a whole closet to devote to it!
• Halloween!! - it's my favorite holiday
• Art supplies & ephemera - who doesn't like this?
• Skulls & bones - I have an impressive collection of real animal skulls, some of which I cleaned up myself from roadkill.

One of my all-time favorite comfort books is The Wood Wife by Terri Windling.

Others include the Lord of the Rings, The Fox Woman by Kij Johnson, and Something Rich and Strange by Patricia McKillip (or anything by her, really).

I also read a whole lot of graphic novels.
