I am a crafty nut currently living in Queenstown nz. I have an array of fabrics, trims and buttons from Melbourne and Japan that I have brought over with me and look forward to a swap or a few hundred... It gets kinda addictive... I love Japanese fabrics & trims and my favourite colours are green and red. I also love vintage fabrics, trees and birds. I try to recycle fabrics where possible. My list of 'I like': COLORS: Green (esp. olive, moss & apple) Red, bright colors. Combinations: dusky pink w/ olive green, red with blue, grey with pink, green with anything… STUFF: japanese fabric, vintage fabrics, , zakka, hedgehogs, owls, birds, trees & leaves, patterns, bright coloured polka dots & stripes, ,notecards, greeting cards,stamps, ribbon, stuffies, fabric covered vintage buttons and old bright wallpaper…
'I don't like': pastel colors, purple, anything Victorian style, religious matter & icons...
Our little girl Indigo will be turning 1 on the 15th December. She is absolutely perfect...
Mainly chick tunes; Missy Higgins, Aretha Franklin, Tracy Chapman, Tori Amos, Powderfinger, Coldplay, Ben Harper, Crowded House, U2. Compilations of funk/jazz and those cool mixes of chillout tunes. Many Australian bands too...
Where to start... The Green Mile, The Castle, Kenny, The Big Blue, Betty Blue, Napoleon Dynamite, Failure to Launch, Bridget Jone's Diary, Vanilla Sky, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Pretty in Pink, all the 80's drama's
The Iron Chef, Neighbours, The News, Cooking shows, Underbelly, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos
Japanese.... also sewing handbags, clutches, jewellery, knitting, screenprinting etc. Must have busy hands... while baby naps!
Anything by: Murakami, Kundera, Banana Yoshimoto, Yoshimoto Nara, Tim Winton. I adore Japanese craft books...and many other craft books.

Thank you for the extra items for my son, it was so nice of you to think of him as well. He's away with his aunt at the moment, she's taken him to legoland today and he won't be back till tomorrow but I know he'll love them.
