About Me
I am a crafty nut who has an array of fabrics, trims and buttons from Melbourne and Japan and look forward to a swap or a few hundred... It gets kinda addictive... I love Japanese fabrics & trims and my favourite colours are green and red. I also love vintage fabrics, trees and birds. I try to recycle fabrics where possible. My list of 'I like': COLORS: Green (esp. mint, moss & aqua) Red, bright colors. Combinations: dusky pink w/ olive green, red with aqua, grey with pink, green with anything… STUFF: japanese fabric, vintage fabrics, , zakka, hedgehogs, owls, birds, trees & leaves, patterns, bright coloured polka dots & stripes, ,notecards, greeting cards,stamps, ribbon, fabric covered vintage buttons and old wallpaper…
'I don't like': purple, anything Victorian style, religious matter & icons...
My daughter Indigo is now 3 1/2 and her birthday is 15th December. She is crazy about glitter, papers, colouring in, pom poms, toddler crafts, baking, being independent, paper dolls, we are about to decorate her dolls house and are hunting old wallpaper. She loves stories and rainbows, kites, animals, songs, flowers, pretty things and coloured nails. Please no stickers! She would be excited to receive anything in the mail!
Favorite Music
Mainly chick tunes; Missy Higgins, Aretha Franklin, Tracy Chapman, Tori Amos, Powderfinger, Coldplay, Ben Harper, Crowded House, U2. Compilations of funk/jazz and those cool mixes of chillout tunes. Many Australian bands too...
Favorite Movies
Where to start... The Castle, The Big Blue, Betty Blue, Failure to Launch, Bridget Jone's Diary, Vanilla Sky, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Pretty in Pink, all the 80's drama's
Favorite Television
The Iron Chef, Offspring, The News, Cooking shows, Underbelly, Six Feet Under, Love My Way, The Sopranos, Spicks and Specks, Rockwiz, Brothers and Sisters, Greys Anatomy.
Favorite Crafts
Japanese.... also sewing, jewellery, knitting, screenprinting etc. Must have busy hands... while my liitle lady sleeps at night!
Favorite Books
Anything by: Haruki Murakami, Milan Kundera, Banana Yoshimoto, Yoshimoto Nara, Tim Winton. Nan Witcomb. I adore Japanese craft books...and many other craft books.

Thank you for the extra items for my son, it was so nice of you to think of him as well. He's away with his aunt at the moment, she's taken him to legoland today and he won't be back till tomorrow but I know he'll love them.
