I am very passionate about recycling, and perhaps changing our carbon footprint on the world! (Yep, I re-use packaging whenever possible!)

I love just about anything that is made from reclaimed or upcycled fabrics (just check out my Esty Store around the end of July)..

Here are some scary facts:

• The average person produces between 3 to 5 pounds of waste per day.
• In North America we produce enough garbage each day to fill 70,000 garbage trucks. Lined up bumper to bumper, over a year, they would stretch halfway to the moon.
• We create well over 250 kilograms of waste each in our homes every year!

I really believe that we all need to try & do our part.

I love swap bot for introducing me to so many wonderful things; I love Dotee's & Whimsy Jars, Matchboxes, cupcakes (yummy) and some wonderful people!

We love Halloween & Christmas. We have so much fun decorating for them. Here is what our house looked like last Halloween:

The pumpkins on the right side are a VW Van (top right)& Leo - a Teenage Turtle.

We are campers! We have always enjoyed camping, but we have recently purchased an '85 VW Westy and it has made the experience so much better! We totally ♥ our Westy & any kind of VW memorabilia - especially if it encorporates a Westy from 1985 :)

Music

I love all sorts of music, anything from AC DC to Michael Buble - but no really heavy rap or metal. I really love a band called the Killers right now.

I also love a local Nanaimo band called Afterglow. The bands myspace is www.myspace.com/afterglowca - (when I figure out how to direct link I will for you!)

Books

I love "Rage of Angels" by Sidney Sheldon & "Watchers" by Dean Koontz. I have heard there was a TV movie of Rage of Angels made, I would love to see it if you have a copy!

TV

We don't have cable, so I don't watch a lot of TV, but we do love movies! We have recently watched the whole series of Seinfeld & Corner Gas, also started Dexter, Magnum P.I., Hawaii 5-0, and many others.

We do have an antennae so we get a few channels, but I mostly watch the news, The Colbert Report & reality shows like Survivor or Big Brother etc.

Movies

I love Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, Anything with John Cusack, Shawshank Redemption, Usual Suspects and many more!

I would prefer to smell smoke in your items than to have a dryer sheet in it :)
