I am the manager of a fun ocean front pub in Nanaimo, BC. I love going to work - the view is great!!

I have 2 super little boys :) Cole is 6 and Lukas is 17 months. I love seeing how different one is from the other. Lukas is so much crazier than Cole ever was!

We are animal people - Lupita is our Black Lab and we have 4 cats; Randy, Kitty, Cowgirl & Hemingway. One of our cats is a polydactyl - she has 23 toes! We named her Hemingway because we read online that Ernest Hemingway's estate is dedicated to his polydactyl cats. Hemingway Estate website. (I am super careful with swaps though & I've never had a complaint about pet hair.)

I love sewing, and seem to work a lot with felt. I think I like the ability to construct a lot of the items by hand.

My favorite color is brown, but any autumn color is fab! (Autumn is my favorite season.)

I am addicted to coffee :( I don't really drink alcohol, but spend a lot on coffee. I enjoy grinding my beans & love dark roast coffee.

I would love to own a dollhouse & would like to make the furniture inside it (only some though.) I wouldn't play with it, but I would love to look at it. I have seen some super Dollhouse kits out there! @cobaltgypsy has reinstilled this desire. She's working on a Witch's Castle & it's too cute! PF Thread about her Castle. Rement would be perfect for this :)

I also like collage, assemblage and all sorts of paper crafting. I am not a scrapbooker (never became interested) but I do enjoy some "scrapbooking" items for collage etc. I would love to get into a few private swaps for some Row Houses. I really want to try it out!

Recently, I handmade / handbound my first journal (Thanks @smokeyquartz1980 !) and am totally addicted. If you have never made a journal, I suggest you give it a try with the Coptic Stitch for binding. If you want any links etc, please pm me.

Some things that I would enjoy receiving are:

VW "stuff" - I love my Westy Van and want anything VW themed, Fabric (cotton preferred & Fat quarters would be super), Guterman Thread, Cone thread in sets of 4 for my serger, 45mm blades for my rotary cutter, rick rack, stationary with lines on it, Somerset Studio Mag's, Bento supplies (I make them for my son when he's in school), 2 tier Bento, Decorative sewing pins, Polymer clay charms (only 1 of each though, I just collect them, I am not putting on a bracelet etc), Beginner's needle felting kit, Paper Labels from food cans/jars - I am using some to make a corset, fuseable interfacing, I ♥ NY Tshirt (size med and up - I want to alter the T), Handmade by you - anything!, I would love a vintage book purse, shrine, Toys for Cole & Lukas, A treat for Steve, DIY kits, Diamond Glaze, Buttons, Zines, blank notecards (blank cover too), ring blanks, purses, Sushi themed items,

Cole

Cole is 6 and heading into grade one (french immersion) next year. He's a lefty (so please no right handed scissors etc.) He loves Bento boxes & supplies, coloring, drawing, his DS, figures, Lego, Superhero's (Batman, Ben 10, Krypto, Superman, Hulk, Thor, Fantastic 4 etc..), Scooby Doo, Spy Kids, movies, reading, candy, chocolate, playing outside, fun straws, he loves to cook - I would love kid size tools for him to use,

Lukas

Lukas is 17 months old and LOVES the Backyardigans. I do mean loves! If you were to send him anything Backyardigans he'd love you forever, lol.

Steve

Steve loves tools, gardening, camping, reading, chocolate, sweet treats, maps, magazines, newspapers (Actually we both read the newspapers - I have fun checking out homes for sale / rent and comparing it to here.)
