In answer to your question for the Where in the World is Crusher, honestly, I don't recall getting funny looks! But then again I do live in NYC and usually people see so many different things, it just doesn't phase them! LOL
Really pleased you like my Love tag. The layering kind of came about by accident because I changed direction mid way :-) But I do remember I used a mix of ink, paint and cosmic shimmer spray and there is more than one layer of stamping, I kept adding until it looked right.
