About Me

I'm a 40-something wife and mother, Pagan, Piscean, with 4 cats and 7 hens. I live on the west coast of Wales with my husband and daughter.

Favorite Books

I like reading all kinds of things, including old girls' fiction. I collect Victorian/Edwardian girls' novels and annuals, and 1930's-20's school stories. I also love science fiction, fantasy, murder mysteries, horror and contemporary fiction. The only genre I don't read is chick lit.

Favorite Music

I love Runrig, Sarah MacLachlan, Loreena McKinnet, Capercaillie, Clannad, Calexico, Stone Age, Kate Bush, Tanita Tikaram, Bread, the Monkees, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds... Basically, I will listen to just about anything, except hip hop and rap, which I just don't get! (Must be an age thing!) I like discovering new bands and singers.

Favorite Crafts

I dabble with cardmaking and love zines! I used to make zines a long time ago, when I was involved in SF fandom. I am now working on my first minizine for a swap here. I especially love perzines and adore the idea of minizines. I am also a beginner at scrapbooking.

Favorite Movies

I love old movies; movies that star Johnny Depp; zombie movies; big dumb monster movies and SF. Some of my favourites:

Season: Autumn.

Food: Strawberries, chicken korma, chili. Ice cream: Any Ben and Jerry's, turkish delight.

Drink: Tea, whisky.

Comment: Your zinalogue looks pretty cool, and I will gladly pass it on for you! And I love your "Amryfath", very well done! I adore the zentangle, but as to how to store my small but growing collection of mini-zines - I am on the hunt for a box, too, but then they are lying there, one on the other... I am still not sure what to do to present them a little bit more, kind of rolo-desk-like... well... still thinking! :-)
