I love all sorts of different crafts...things I've dabbled in include matchboxes, ATCs, sewing, knitting, marble magnets, scrapbooking, card making, altering dominoes and whatnot. I enjoy little projects because my favorite part is seeing the final result, and I don't like to wait too long!

I try to post pictures on Flickr of the swaps I have sent out (after they have been received by my partners). I always try to rate my received swaps the day they arrive, unless I'm out of town!

I haven't included a lot of specific likes in my profile because I mainly enjoy participating in swaps with handcrafted items--and I just hate to limit what someone might create! As long as it doesn't include something I have specifically listed as a dislike, I will love it!

Right now my favorite crafty things to do are sewing and altering small matchboxes! I've been making zipper pouches and snap wallets. Since joining Swap-bot I have now made some Dotees (which I no longer make), swapped some ATCs, become addicted to matchboxes and made a simple felted birdie and apple. I really would like to try bottle caps. I also would like to make a bottle cap pin cushion. Additionally, I would like to at least once use Diamond Glaze and not be disappointed in the results.

I love one on one trades--especially for things I'm not very good at making myself. I make a lot of zipper pouches, so if you make something you think I'd like or have some things from my wishlist you'd like to trade for a zipper pouch, by all means please contact me!

For the most part, I don't expect or want to receive things from my favorites. However, if you happen to be my partner in a profile based swap, here are some suggestions. For all other swaps, feel free to ignore this!

Some color combos I like: navy blue & silver; burgandy & matte gold; aqua & silver; aqua/robin's egg blue & brown.

I like cats. I also like things with birds, butterflies, flowers and such.

I have always loved miniature things.

I love whimsical art and vintage things. Old photographs are wonderful as well. I especially love things that have a story or history associated with them. I've recently fallen in love with vintage buttons, especially ones with rhinestones in them.

I love to read, but don't seem to make the time to do it as much as I'd like.
