~~~~~~~~~~
That's me:
Love to do things, that I like and I don’t give a f~~~ if it doesn’t fit in common thinking and liking of the society. I don’t harm anyone though, I’m a pacifist and I think that animals “speak” more truth than humans. I hate pigeonhole thinking! Best example, I hear Metal, but I love some songs of Boybands too. Or I am a girly, but I don’t have a thing for make-up (like it on others though) and fashion. I’m pretty open to everything, as long as no one gets hurt. I’m the type who tries first and then decide if I like it or not, most of the time. I try to have no prejudices, but it’s hard sometimes. So I’m a human with strengths and weaknesses like everyone. :-) Everyone should be free to live how he/she likes to live as long as nobody gets hurt!
~~~~~~~~~~

Communication is the key!!!

  • I spread the word about people not being able to read!!!

  • If you can't send your swap in time, please tell me! I have no problem with it, as we all have lifes outside swapbot. But it's not fair, if you don't communicate! And that means before the deadline ends!!!

  • If you're unhappy with my swap, or if you want something, please tell me! Also I would be happy to get an answer, when I write you something here on swapbot. May it in the comment-section of a swap, private message, in your profile or in the forums. It's really making me sad, if I write something and getting ignored. Thanks a lot! :-)

  • I recycle envies. Means, if they are not broken I use them again to protect the environment. You can do this too when you send to me. :-)

reuse

  • I also don't wrap the swaps I send, in nice papers. They may look nice, but I think, this is not necessary. Another way to protect the environment. So you don't have to do that too in the swaps you send me! That means not, that I don't wrap them up carefully if necessary!

  • If you don't like/or can't use something I've sent, you can reswap it. I too will give things away, that I can't use.

  • I don't expect extras in a swap! I mean, it's nice, but it don't guarantees a heart! I'll give a heart, when I see that a swap was made or sent with love! I don't send extras either with every swap. If I do, then because of something I have, that I know my partner will love or can use. I don't expect a heart for it, I expect a happy partner (with or without extras)! :-)

  • I'll angel all of my swaps I host myself.

I'm almost always up for a private trade! :-) (I'd love to get some of my etsy-faves, link above at the Url-section in my userprofile). I can easily get you German chocolate (like Milka and Kinder), Souvenirs, empty matchboxes and other typical German things.

PS:

Swaps that I host are not to aim for hearts!

Do your best and send what you would like to recieve!

That's all that matters! Besides having fun while you create! :-)

~~~~~~~~~~
Hi, my name is Monika and I'm from Cologne in Germany and live there, since I was born. I love this city and its people, but I love to travel too. The only problem is: I hate airplanes!!! So I do all travelling by train. I only once made an exception and travelled to Israel by plane. So far I was in the Netherlands, Spain, France, Portugal and Israel. But I want to see much more of the world! :-)
Things I love:
A = Amigurumis, Aliens, animals, asian stuff (I adore the art they make and the stuff, you don't get in Europe), artists (Frida Kahlo, Jose Guadalupe Posada, Gustav Klimt, Joolz Denby, Dana Bennewitz and my girlfriend DarthD)
B = black tea (no Eearl Grey!), books (especially old books, I love the smell of time), book thongs, blindbox toys, ballpoint pens (cute and crazy with danglings, etc.), beads (in all shapes and forms), buttons, brads, Body-art, Batman, Beast, Buddha, bracelets
C = Caipirinha, cellphone charms, cupcakes, Corpse Bride, colours (green, hot pink, petrol, rainbow), charms, comics, cigar boxes (empty), colours, Calaveras
D = Dia de los Muertos, Dragons, Dogs (would love to have a dog in my life, but sweetie and I work and we have only a flat, so he would be alone inside most of the day), Dinosaurs
E = Erotica (the human body is beautiful), etsy-shopping, Elephants, embellishment, Espresso
F = flickr-browsing, fortune cookies, fridge-magnets (from all around the world. Means from cities and countries. Here's my collection so far), Ford (especially the Ford Capri and Escort), Frogs, food with faces, Feng Shui, freedom, family and friends, Francis of Assisi
G = Gaia, Gin Tonic, Glitter, Gum (Bubble and Chewing, favourites: Bubble yum watermelon flavour and Bazooka Joe)
H = handmade things (you can feel the love in them), Haikus (reading&writing), Halloween (not the movie), Hannari Tofu, Hammy (from the movie "Over the hedge"), Hong Kong-movies (fav. actor Andy Lau)
I = individuality, italian food (since my sweetie's father is italian, we eat lots of italian stuff)
J = Janis Joplin, Jack Sparrow (one hot guy!)
K = kawaii (see extra section for likes below), kaleidoscopes, Kuromi
L = lucky stars (can't make them, but my sweetie is pretty good now in making them, so lucky star paper is always appreciated!), love, Lotus flowers, Lourdes, love of my life, Lime (the fruit and the colour)
M = Marvel Comics, Moon, Mojito, Mermaids, Monty Python (favourite Python: Michael Palin), matchbox shrines, maps (they can be old and used), movies (in German and in English, see extra section below), music (see extra section below), Mamegoma, monster, Manilla Tags
N = Nervousness, Nightmare before Christmas, Nightcrawler
O = old things (they have the smell of individuality), odd and interesting findings of all kinds
P = peppermint, plushies, Paddington Bear, papers (for using in my crafting), Paris, peace, Pin ups (Vintage), pandas
S = sea, spring and its smells, Sirius Black and Severus Snape (character from the Harry Potter books and movies), Sushi, Sloths, shrines of all kinds, Scrapbooking-supplies, Scotland, Science Fiction (grew up with it. First books I read in my life were Star Trek-Novells from the classic TV-show), Spirituality (My faith is a mix of Buddhism, Taoism, believe in the Goddess and nature, my roots are christian. For me it’s a one great spirit which each religion gives an other packaging), swapbot (obviously), Skeleanimals, Spiderman, Star Trek, Skelekitty
T = Travel Guides, Tattoos, trying new food, tolerance, trees
V = Victorian-era, Vampires, Virgin Mary
W = walk barefoot where ever I can, wind, Wolverine, Wolves, Werewolves, Wind chimes
X = X-Men
1920's - 1980's,
decorated matchboxes: I love to receive them decorated INSIDE and out. I prefer to receive decorated boxes, and not boxes filled with items...so any matchbox swap I am in, please feel free to decorate the inside instead of filling it with items! Statement from YooperHill. I think the same. It's so sad to see, that so many people seem to think, that the content is much more important than the box itself! Creating a matchbox is creating a little piece of art and in my opinion it's more important and much nicer to get a beautiful matchbox and not masses of extras to make up for a poorly decorated matchbox! I don't want to say, that I'm perfect, but it's not hard to put a little paint or nice paper inside of a matchbox instead of leaving it naked. :-(
