Love Pride & Prejudice-have seen it about 5 times in the past 3 years. Pieces of April. Marilyn Hotchkiss Ballroom Dancing & Charm School, Phantom of the Opera,Chicago, Lackawanna Blues, old b & w's from the 40's & 50's.

Favorite Television

ER, 30 Rock, DWTS, old episodes of Arrested Development. What Not to Wear. Mad Men. Oh, the Weather Channel. But they are never right...

Favorite Crafts

Cards, feeble attempts at collaging and tags (not so feeble). I like to work w/things that are old/aged (like me!) I just started ATC's at Christmas and really enjoy them. I am just starting to try those little matchboxes. I like to use old advertising, photos, print, books, emphemera. I tend to have a quirky sense of humor so strange things catch my eye. I try to learn new things to challenge myself (in art, not bullfighting or anything like that...).

I don't really care for...

I don't particularly like new, shiny, glittery or really colorful things. This goes for all aspects of my life, clothes, decorating, men, etc. BUT, if you work in those elements (shiny, etc.) that is okay. I am not too critical (unless you are one of those sticker on a piece of paper people). I am also not a big tea drinker (I like it but it doesn't like me). If you send me tea bags they get passed along to my son.

Things I like...

Cooking, birds, flowers & gardening, entertaining, good but inexpensive wine. I like to rate the day I receive items and like people who rate promptly, as I lets me know that you received my items. I like muted colors, vintage stuff, good art, textured papers and nice people ( I know, sounds hokey but my two good friends Susan and Elaine are both nice. And swap-bot junkies. So is my daughter.)

Comment: I suspect there were more than 3 items used on the postcard. Everything went together beautifully (nice quote at the top too)! Thanks for the smiley face and comment on the city name on the reverse.
Response: Glad you liked it! The items in my challenge envelope were the bird & flowers, all of the buttons, and the colored stripes. I just happened across the picture of the prince in his workshop in an old magazine and it was a perfect fit! Thanks for the heart.

Comment: Love your creativity on the ATC I received. Your new technique won me over. Oh I do collect anything to do with owls. The bird book pages you sent me will go into my owl album. Owls in your back yard, how wonderful.
Response: Thanks so much...glad you liked everything! The only time I didn't really like our owls was when one of them decided to attack something right off of the side of our patio,when we were sitting out there after dark!
