I'm a mom, a wife, a blogger and just recently became gainfully employed! I love reading, walking with my iPod, blogging, volleyball and shopping. I'm always on the lookout for bargains, freebies and coupons.

My favorite color is purple. I can never have too many lip balms. I like fun notepads and interesting pens. I used to have a pink pen in the shape of a flamingo! I collect miniatures - anything smaller than a quarter that shouldn't normally be that small will get added to my curio shelf. Someday I'll own a MINI Cooper but until then I'll collect miniature Mini's (ha) and all MINI paraphernalia.

I'd love to receive a bento box, anything kawaii, and things from outside the US. Crochet hooks of all types and sizes are welcome.

I love anything flavored mint or peppermint but I hate spearmint. I love tea, especially peppermint, lemon and jasmin flavors. I'm a vegan, so please NO food stuffs with meat or dairy ingredients. I DO NOT like black licorice flavor or peanut butter candy. I like lilac, jasmin, and gardenia scents. Lilacs are my favorite flower.

My son will be 2 on October 14. He loves cars, trucks, trains, balls, stacking blocks and climbing on things. He loves animals especially dogs, cats and ducks. He's really into Signing Time DVDs and knows a lot of signs already. He loves music and bounces along! He's starting to really look at books on his own and esp enjoys the touch-and-feel or hidden flap books. I would love recommendations for music for him or mixed CDs of kids music that you and/or your children like.

We have two tabby cats, brothers Munchkin and Nibblett. They are indoor/outdoor. They enjoy chasing crumpled paper and moths. They would love to get new toys and treats from around the world.

I have a lot of favorite authors: John Grisham, Maive Binchy, Diana Gabaldon, Victoria Thompson, Sara Donati, Fern Michaels and many others. My favorite book of all time is Project Sunlight by June Strong.

Oh how I love my shows! I'm currently loving Cupid, Castle and Bones. I also enjoy all the CSIs though NY is my fave. I like Private Practice and Grey's and I'm a sucker for good reality TV: Survivor, Biggest Loser. Jon Stewart is one of my heroes. I also watch House, Burn Notice and my guilty pleasure The Bachelor and Bachelorette.

I'd love to get items you've made or found from Wonderfalls and Firefly. They cancel all the really good shows, don't they?

I have started many 'projects' of different kinds over the years. I have so-so sewing skills, can do basic crochet, and like to collect scrapbook items to use in other crafts. I'm a bad painter but I love spreading the water colors and paints on occasion.

My swaps here have really gotten me hooked on crochet. I've been collecting hooks and scavenging yarn from all the thrift shops in town. I'd love to get yarn, even leftovers from your projects and hooks of all shapes and materials.

I earned my BS in Graphic Design in 2001. I'm always redoing forms on my computer and creating paper products for myself: greeting cards, business cards, contact cards, brochures for family, spreadsheets, calendars, game score pads, you name it! I'm a homemaker now but my work experience is mostly in finance and accounting. I enjoy 'running the numbers'. I'm constantly looking for ways to reuse, reduce, and recycle. I'd love to receive things you make from reclaimed materials. I would love to receive anything organic, natural, green or vegan.
