I love ATCs, chunkies and other collectibles. I adore collage, rubber stamping and mixed media and I also paint and draw.
I live in beautiful New Zealand with my husband and daughter, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 chickens and one cockatiel parakeet. I do art and craft whenever I get down-time!
I love all sorts of music, and am especially fond of The Monkees (although they were slightly before my time!) Hubby has got me into Pink Floyd lately too. I also love The Corrs, The Gothard Sisters, Switchfoot, Relient K, and most other popular Christian artists.
I love so many programmes from the 60s, 70s and 80s - Open All Hours, Porridge, The Good Life, MacGyver, The A-Team, The Greatest American Hero, the list goes on...and on... At the moment I'm watching the Wild Wild West and LOVING it, especially one Artemus Gordon. :o)
Current stuff I like: The Mentalist, Elementary, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory.
Likes: Foreign postage stamps that I can use in my art Textured paper Washi tape (LOVE this stuff) Vintage pictures and postcards Steampunk My Cuttlebug Decorative paper napkins Rubber stamps and inks Stencils Watercolour pencils Watercolour crayons Glue sticks Chocolate (no nuts or fruit) Rhinestones Animals Christian themes
Dislikes: Nuts! (no, I'm not allergic, I just really hate the taste!!!) Dried fruit Alcohol Coffee Herbal tea (just give me English breakfast or Earl Grey) Lazy people who park in handicap zones People who post messages in text language Vampires Occult stuff Fluorescent colours
Here in New Zealand, we have extremely strict Biosecurity which means that if you're sending any food products, please ensure that it doesn't include any fresh food, or nuts or seeds. Generally packaged candy bars are fine, as are chips and crackers, as long as they're in their original packaging. This goes for ATCs as well: any ephemera on the cards should not have any wood, leaves or seeds. As beautiful as these things are, they will be confiscated at the border!
