I am a 30 year old, mother of 2, soon to be 3. I have been married for almost 7 years to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful kids with him. I have a 4 yr old on named Ian and a 2 yr old daughter named Maren. (baby #3 is due in late May/early June) I have been the K-12 art teacher at Orient Macksburg school for the last 6 yrs
As far as education have my Fine Arts Degree from Iowa State University(2001) and Art Ed degree from UNI (2002). I have a new found obsession in the Artist trading cards. I have my 2 and 4 yr old making them as well as all of my classes in school. they are WONDERFUL. I have just started selling Tupperware for some extra $

I love to watch House. back before my kids took all of my time up, I watched the CSI's and Law and Orders. ER was one I watched weekly until it ended last season. My off show is the Secret Life of the American Teenager.

I read the weird books. John Saul is my all time favorite author. Dean Koontz and Stephen King are ones that I have read in some of my free time. I miss my alone time to read.

I have a new found love for the ATC's. previous to that I loved to paint. I consider my self a painter. I like BIG paintings, so the ATC's are the opposite of what I usually do. Nupastels are an awesome product that I have mastered. they are a Chalk pastel that falls between Conte' and chalk pastel.

Favorite color: Olive Green Favorite food: Ice Cream Favorite animal: Hedgehogs Favorite medium: in big artwork, acrylic paint and nupastels. In ATC, so far it is SHARPIES.
