Fantasy Books, especially Darren Shan, JRR Tolkien and Terry Brooks. Further the Egyptian books of Wilbur Smith, all books with King Arthur and/or Merlin and similar books, Vampire books: favorite are Anne Rice books, the Eragon books, the Artemis Fowl books, Harry Potter, the Moomin books of Tove Jansson. Now I'm totally hooked on the Twilight Saga. Book 3 just came out in the Netherlands and unfortunately book 4 is planned for spring 2010, it's such a long time to wait.

Science Fiction, especially Stargate and Star Trek. Further: Vampire movies, horror movies (not the slaughter movies, but mild horror), Harry Potter, Nightmare before Christmas, Junglebook (Disney), Hellboy 1 and 2, Pan's Labyrinth, all Tim Burton movies.

Jewelrymaking, papercrafts, cross-stitching, sewing clothes for myself, actually I have tried many crafts and I like all of them. I recently started with ATCs and I love to do that. So now I went to the inchies, even smaller objects of art. I love making glassbeads, but I don't have the room in my house to make a safe workingspace.

I am a 53 year old woman. I am married already 27 years with the same man and still in love with him. We don't have children, by choice. We have cats in the past and now we have a part-time cat. He stays with us and with our neighbour. He is pure white and very sweet. I have worked since I was 16 years old and nowadays I work on a post office, which is easy when I have to send my swaps. I live in a house with a small garden with several bird feeders. I am a diabetic, so no sugarry things for me. I live on the Atkins diet for many years now and this is the right diet for me. My favorite hobby is reading. After that comes movies and television. And after that internet and postcard swapping.

Hiking, fitness, playing with my WII, reading and crafting. I love being in my garden, but I don't like gardening.

I would like to receive postcards from characters from comics (or comic books). I especially like the Moomin characters and cards from Kaj Stenvall. Further I like postcards with a 'fantasy' theme like fairy tales and other fantasy. I very much like postcards with illustrations from childrens books. I will also be happy with postcards from wildlife of your country, especially birds. And I allways like beautiful Christmas postcards, even when it's in the summer. 3D Postcards, aka lenticular postcards. But the most I love glittery, sparkly postcards, the more sparkles the better.

Pastel colors and especially blue pastels and yellow pastels, further I love all glittery, sparkly things.

Flowers, garden birds (I have 5 bird feeders in my tiny garden) ring-tailed lemurs, natural soaps (Lush), patchouli and other Indian fragrances, the smell of lemons and limes, lemonade (artificial sweetened, I'm a diabetic), fairies, gnomes, whitches, wizards, elves, sparkles and glitter, crystals and crystal beads, Marimekko blouses and shirts, Moomin, Johnny Depp, Nightmare before Christmas stuff, pens especially quality ones, stickers, bookmarks (I try to put a matching bookmark in every book I'm reading), Classic Pooh, Classic Piglet, handmade lampwork beads, silver, Vampire related stuff, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, nature, cats, meercats, owls, birds of prey, friendly people, Vogue Picture Records, stamps with cartoon characters, artificially sweetened chocolate and sweets, coffee (the stronger the better), barbeque, French cheeses, clip-art software, hedgehogs, squirrels, pigs, low-carb foods, Snoopy and Woodstock, Pine-tree scented shower-gel, soap and bodymilk, Ginger scented shower-gel, soap and bodymilk, lingerie from Dutch designer Marlies Dekkers, white lilys, lily of the valley, honeysuckle, the Moon and the Stars.

Make up, Perfumes, wooden beads, beads of bone, gold, dogs, tea, alcohol, tobacco and tobacco smoke, food with Carbohydrates (actually I'm a carbohydrate addict, I adore sugarry things, but I can't have them :o( ) vanilla scented stuff.
