Wow, Turkey seems so far away but just another example of how small the world is with the internet. I'm hoping to visit a tropical place, I've never left North America and I was never in a tropical area. I hate bugs too and work in the medical field; I'm a Resigtered Nurse. However, I totally hated my psychiatry training! I hope it works out for you!

We have a lot of things in common, reading mysteries, I like most of the movies you listed, House is a good tv series, I have also seen some fo the Big Ban Theory series and enjoyed it. I tried to learn Spanish in High School but I didn't succeed. In the music area we have different tastes. I also like my postcards written on. If they are stamped that is even better. Chocolate and coffee are yummy! I also collect refrigerator magnets. I would like to visit Turkey. The people I have met who have been there enjoyed it. I was always interested in psychiatry but never could take all the studies and schooling. i worked at our mental heath institution for 7 years then got beat up by a psych patient and i have never worked again! It takes a good person to do what you are doing--good luck with your studies and have lots of fun swapping. It was nice getting to know you, please keep in touch!
