I am new to swapping - my sister started me on it (and she loves it so I'm sure I will too!). I currently work with wine importers (prosecco is my favorite) but my true passion is the conservation of animals and wildlife. I love all animals (especially tigers and wildlife) and can go on about them forever. Pets are very important to me, its a very peaceful thing to have an animal around, I have enjoyed many pets including currently 4 cats, 3 birds a cichlid and savannah monitor and have had many touch my heart including my ferret, cockatiel, and hound dog. I also can't wait to get my german shepherd puppy! I enjoy the outdoors, nature and gardening - plants are fascinating. Our earth is a very precious thing to all of us and I enjoy teaching people the affect that we have on it. I am from Long Island, NY..it is where my family still resides and I am very passionate about being a New Yorker. I am always interested in learning new words for my vocabulary - words are powerful. I love collecting foreign coins...I have many and enjoy obtaining more! Other cultures and countries interest me, I want to visit Europe, mostly Italy. I love to paint, draw and I am a decent knitter - funky yarn is my new passion. Cooking and baking come naturally to me and I love learning new recipes. My favorite time of the year is autumn..I love the scents, sounds and colors but I have to admit I adore the snow!
