I am completely and utterly new to swap bot and am still finding my way around the site. By that I mean that this is an urgent cry for help :)

My name is Anne and I'm a 29 year old female from England. By day I am a retail assistant in a garden centre but I'm never ever satisfied just doing one thing. I LOVE to keep busy and have so many hobbies it's insane. I find crafts very therapeutic and this year I've handmade and sold quite a lot of jewellery online.

I'm definitely very appreciative of everything/everyone good in my life. I am a Hodgkin's Lymphoma survivor and I am currently kicking my residual effects of treatment into submission. Over the last few months I've started to get fit, I've lost weight, my energy levels are on the up and I'm generally feeling way happier than I did before. Everything in life is new and refreshing to me now, it's definitely funny how horrible things can set you free.

Anyway I've written to penpals since I was 12 and have delved into swapping in that manner, as well as on forums, yahoo groups etc. I always enjoy putting a lot of time and love into my swaps to people, so can't wait to make friends here and enjoy the swap bot experience.

Some other random things about me:

• I'm a complete fashion victim
• I'm a coffee lover
• I love photography and carry my camera everywhere
• I love everything Japanese and kawaii, I'm really inspired by Japanese street fashion, Audrey Kitching, Tarina Tarantino etc.
• I am a proud dog owner, I think if people don't love either dogs or cats then they probably can't love humans either, unless you're allergic of course...

Beads, beads and more beads. You cannot go wrong with beads of all shapes, all sizes, colours and textures, but NO seed beads please.

I like charms too- anything and everything!

Yarn, yarn, yarn! I love knitting and crocheting little accessories like iPod holders, fingerless gloves and hats. I tend to stash yarn and always have too much left over from projects I've done, so trading/swapping yarn on here definitely appeals to me.

I love Hello Kitty! I also love badtz maru, keroppi, vintage sanrio in general, gloomy bears, tare panda, my melody, cute girly kawaii skulls... I have a big thing about miniature food in general, I love making it out of clay. Needless to say that I adore the milk, coffee, pancakes, cupcakes etc you often see on kawaii stationary.

I like owls, matryoshka dolls, cute woodland creatures and little accessories.

I prefer writing paper (letter sets, letter pads) to memo pads as I have little use for them. I LOVE stickers, especially 3D ones and ones I can use in my jewellery making- they look awesome embedded in resin.

My tastes are colourful and quirky. I am usually very easily pleased.
