I'm a SAHM who denies being 40ish. I live with my DH, my DD and my dog.

I love to travel and dine out. I enjoy poker. I like to read books and magazines. I find swimming and alone time relaxing. I enjoy girl time with my gal pals.

I love candy bars! I enjoy new recipes.

I'm happy that my DD and I are finally enjoying the same music. Occasionally, she likes a bit more buble-gum than I do, but for the most part it's all good. We like Rob Thomas, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Daughtry, Bon Jovi, stuff like that.

Chick Lit, Mysteries, Vampire Fiction.

I'll read just about anything, I'm not at all snobbish in my choices!

Recently completed reads include: The ARt of Racing in the Rain,' the 'Twilight' saga, 'From Dead to Worse,' 'Killer Heat,' and the latest Robert B Parker Spenser book: 'Rough Weather.'

Current Faves: House, Fringe, Bones, Chuck, Saving Grace, Poker, Amazing Race, Suvivor, Project Runway, Top Chef

All Time Faves: Buffy, Angel, ST:TNG, Batman:TAS

I am a scrapbooker. I can always use glue dots and embellishments. My style tends more toward "simple" than "cluttered" and I'm not a fan of the collage-y style (for my stuff, some people can make it work - I just can't.) I Love pre-prettied chipboard embellishments and letters. (Glittery Thickers, for example.)

Dabble in other papercrafts and card making.
I own a sewing machine, but even "Sewing for Dummies" confuses me.
I used to cross-stitch obsessively.

I love most colors, with a special love for purple and the combination of pink & green together. Our household colors are mostly blue (living areas and bedroom) and mostly yellow (family room and kitchen.) I scrapbook with mainly girly colors, because I have a DD.

My non-love colors are browns and greens... I'm not a real earthy kinda gal, I guess!

I don't do a lot of scented things in the house, as DH is scent-sensitive. I can usually get away with fruity or food scented things - orange & vanilla most notably.

As far as a personal scent, I adore jasmine-based scents for lotions, shampoos, soaps, etc.

I love chunky bracelets with lots of dangly doo-dads.

My jewelry non-love would be necklaces. I always feel like I'm choking, no matter the length.

I love to know how things are done, I really adore kits of things with directions.

I'm a tea drinker, but can't quite call that a love. I quite enjoy any fruitily flavored tea, like orange or peach.

My love would be flavored diet sodas - if only more varieties came in caffeine free!

My non-love drink would be coffee. Blech! Can't see how people actually drink that stuff, let alone have the smell of it around! But, don't get me wrong, Starbuck's has some other mighty fine drink options!

I love my dog, and all other dogs I have had, will have, or have ever seen! My non-love would be cats. I'm mildly allergic, plus I just don't get them!

I love the NFL and NASCAR (I have no idea why this appeals to me, as I'm most definitely not in their demographic!), I play softball and tennis. I'm not really into the NBA or MLB, but we do follow the "local" teams - Trailblazers and Mariners.

be at the coast. Watching the waves crash in, listening to their beat, smelling the sea, and feeling the water in the air. Give me a book, a comfy chair, and a view of the ocean and I'm in heaven. Toss in a cute cabana boy, and you'd never get me to leave! :)
