I enjoy everything artsy and craftsy and especially love mixed media art. I don't eat meat, so please don't send me a recipe that calls for it.
I love art and artist postcards (especially Klimt, Louise Nevelson, Edward Gorey) animals (especially cats (especially calico), pigs, raccoons, bunnies, woodland animals, deer, fox, squirrels, etc.), bats, insects, scary or spooky cards (Halloween is my favorite holiday so the scarier the better), zombies, vampires, mummies, Frankenstein's monster, Edward Scissorhands etc., fairy tales, nature (trees, leaves, the forest, flowers, sunsets, etc.) Native American, carnival, robot or sci-fi in general, birds, sea animals, octopus, sea horses, strange, dark or unusual.
My husband made this postcard display for me so I can showcase my favorite postcards.
I love postcards naked and stamped. I'd love for you to include a little note or your favorite quote on the postcard you're sending me, and I love stickers on postcards! :)
If I'm honest, I don't love touristy postcards--but, I do want to start collecting map postcards...so if you have one of those I would really enjoy it! (I only have Florida, so far.) If all you have are tourist postcards, I would prefer nature postcards or something like that :) PLEASE READ: My post lady is very nice, but she weighs every piece of mail that comes in and is very stern with the postal rules. Please do not put a puffy sticker on my postcards (I love them, but she will make me pay 22 cents because she says they are non-machinable--I love regular stickers though and she's okay with them :) And, please make sure my address is on the postcard horizontally (even if the lines want you to write it vertically) she will make me pay 22 cents if it is vertically because she says it is non-machinable). I bet I've paid $4 in the last month in postage due fees from the post office for the reasons above :(
