About Me

i'm a 20-something artist from Ohio, living and working in Cincinnati. i started making mail art in 2000, and am a refugee from the original nervousness.org (ANONGRRL). i stay in contact with many friends from the site, and still often host my own swaps via my blog. (nicci.livejournal.com). i do mostly chunky books when i coordinate swaps. chunkies are love.

i'm addicted to heart imagery, be it poetic, visceral, or dark and creepy. i'm currently in the middle of sculpting 100 semi anatomical ceramic human hearts.

and i make zines like woah.

I collect

skulls, hearts, dragons, small bottles, tiny boxes, fine art valentines, miniature art, colored pens, art supplies, crazy nail polish colors, red beads

I'd love to receive

handmade art. work that shows your hand, not die cut, mass produced stuff. layer it, stamp it, sketch it, lick it, whatever. oh, if you're going to lick it, please coat it with acrylic medium or something first. kthx.

I just got your "Thank you" package today...Wow, that was so generous! I love the pin, the ATC and the haiku book! I was inspired by the Haiku "one shot zine" and want to learn how to make them...do you know of an online tutorial?
