Have not been signing up for swaps lately because I must get packed to move on Feb 15. Moving to an apartment in an over 55 building, and my daughter is moving to her own apartment in a different area of the city. Will get back into swapping when I get settled in.

I love making and receiving ATCs. Dotee dolls are fun too. Not really "in to" postcards, but have received a few as extras in swaps, and love the photos of old cathedrals in Europe! I like old cars too.

Swapping is a way for me to connect with others, have positive feedback in my life, and have an outlet for my creativity. Hosting a swap every now and then is fun and rewarding.

You might have noticed that my score is less than perfect. It used to be a '5', and I had a series of problems in my life that caused me to fail to fulfill my swap obligations in 2010. Please notice that all my swaps in 2012 have been 5's and with positive comments. I will not flake. I will send out my swaps. I make an attempt to have the swap item ready when the swap partners are assigned, and in that way I am not late at all, and it becomes obvious to the swap coordinators that I am serious about being a good little swapper. There are still a few mean spirited people out there who ban me from their swaps. So be it. They are the ones who miss out on getting nice ATCs and little extras that I include in most envelopes.

Currently I live with my youngest daughter in a townhouse. We like it here, but both of us would prefer to live in our "own" place. The lease is up in February 2013, so have not yet decided what we will do. We ARE planning to move separately, but no idea to where at this point.

I do not plan to EVER get married again. Now, I have complete control over the remote, and I talk to anyone I choose to talk to, go whererever I choose to go, It's been four years now and I am finally leaving his 'rules' behind.

Quilting, painting, ATCs, designing quilt patterns. I also crochet. Scrapbooking is a passion. I love Victorian style and Craftsman style. I especially like getting original painting ATC's. I have enough scrapbook paper to fill a big box, but love rub-off words.

Tuxedo cats!* * Daffodils are my favorite flower. ** * Chocolate and coffee are my addictions. ** For Christmas in 2011 I got a Kuerig coffeemaker. I say I can only make one perfect cup of coffee at a time now.

** I have a ten year old Akita named Silk, and a 4 year old tuxedo cat named Sebastian, but who also answers to whatever his current nickname may be (kitten, purdy cat, The One Cat Left, Not so Fluffy, Mr. Cat, Escape Artist.....) Also in our household is my daughter's Akita, Bently, who is 4 and a beautiful all-white dog with black ears. Akitas are such special animals!
