Yes indeedy, I got a wonderful hand-lettered birthday card from you, Phi! Thank you ever so much! Didn't I mention it on my card to you—either the Dr. No one or another one? Sorry if I spaced out and didn't say anything. Shortly after my birthday, I got the awful flu that went around up here, and it lasted for weeks. So I haven't been at my best...
If I implied you were half-assed, my dear Phi-ness, I was of course only kidding. Extemporaneous, on the other hand, is a good thing! But you know that.
As for something simple like sending postcards back and forth, I will gve you my sister-in-law's favorite line: "Perfect is the enemy of good." =grin=
After rating you for the mini-zine I thought that I had received mail from you before, so I finally checked, and sure enough: One postcard each in 2009, 2010, and 2012, and the 'zine for 2013. You are awesome :) But now I feel I should send something back! --Hope
