Curse the ways of fortune, there be no kittens yet. The dam in question had her appointment with the chosen sire, back in August, but nothing resulted from that. And she has stubbornly refused to go back into heat. But she will, sooner or later, for she is a young thing, with only one litter to her credit so far. As soon as she goes into heat, the proceedings will commence again. And we shall see what we shall see. The prospects for interesting colors do run high: the dam is a calico, and the sire has patches of orange & white. I am striving my darndest to be patient...
Msg received, my fine Aussie friend! I may write to you before your letter reaches me....or not....it's hard to tell what I'm going to do, these days. At any rate, I look forward to your snail-sent missive: do pack it with scads of news & details! oh never mind the "do pack..." comment: whatever is flowing through your brain, into the pen, and onto the page will be a true delight to behold, I know it! =grin=
Hey gal, I think about you a lot, but do I write to you? No! Pretty stupid, dontcha think? So this is my way of breaking that spell, of writing to you so I can write to you... (Why do I know you'll understand that, even tho' it makes no sense?)
Oh! Hehe, you may still be right, there are an awful lot of different types of Oxalis :3 And just cause it's pretty doesn't mean its not a pest- I love lots of 'weeds' I see here in England.. as for bunnies that is such a shame your friend can't keep them in Queensland, and hamsters! I had no idea they were n't allowed ^^ sheesh, what an odd place Australia is! ;P
Let's just say "raccoon like". ;o) Check out my Postcrossing profile, it explains my remark. It's near the beginning, so you won't have to wade through the whole thing. I just finished reading your pm - you're a trip! :oD Just heading out to do grocery shopping in a few minutes, but I will reply - if not tonight (my hands and arms are usually pretty sore by the time I get done lifting and hauling everything), then tomorrow.. You betcha! ;oP
I came across your profile in a roundabout way - love it! ;o) I'm sorry that Australia wouldn't let me visit - I don't carry the rabies virus, truly I don't.:o(
Well, I'm pretty sure anyway.....

Loved reading your profile, hope you have a wonderful day
Is that a cat with a Bride wig on your avatar? It's so sweet of you to want to do an homage to my Elsa Lanchester one.
Sorry to hear you lost #4 in the series....they are rather flimsy things. I assume you won't mind if I send you another batch. =grin=
