I live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. With my Husband, and my Am. Staff Daisie.

I studied surface design and foundation visual arts. I still do freelance work out of my home, for fabric, carpet, flooring, wallpaper, and pattern companies. If you don't know what surface desing is, I will give you an idea. A surface designer creates patterns. All the different wallpaper patterns, a surface designer creates. You come up with one block. Then with the technology of computers, you multiply the image. Then you have created a repeating pattern. It is very similar to fabric, floor coverings, paper, and pretty much anything with a pattern on it. After art school, I decided I needed to go to school to get something where I can make a living and use my other educational training to advance more.

I am a hair stylist, and Manager of a hair salon which I love so much!!! You are able to be so creative with color and cutting. So my passion for art influences my styles. I have plans of opening my own vintage store with a salon in the back. I have recieved 1st place in a cut and style competition at my school. Also got voted Valevictorian for our graduation. I also competed in the MBS hair show competition, in early April 2007. I need to get my name out and my abilities seen by other stylists and salon owners.

I love the 50's and anything to do with that period; music, clothing, hair products, household items, and cars. I would say that I could be grouped into the rockabilly and psychobilly scene.

I am very much influenced by colors. And I believe that there should be one color scheme for the whole house. So, I have choosen to use the colors; milk chocolate, lime green, turquois, golden yellow, and autum orange. All my colors flow into each other room. With one color being the main and the others as acsents.

I am a collector of halloween ornaments and figurines. I have started a halloween village of small buildings and people. I also have a shelfing unit, 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide full of ornaments. When stores start stocking halloween stuff, my credit card goes into overtime.

My favorite colors are red, pink and black. I like anything that is sparkly and shiny. Sometimes I think that I am a crow, soaring in a world with no boundaries.
