I am a student. For now I am undecided about what I want to do. I enjoy making art and doing crafts.
I have just returned from studying spanish in Mexico. I have returned to the U.S. to continue studying for my bachelors but would like to go back to Mexico as soon as possible.
I love traveling. I enjoy learning about all different cultures. I really love the art, music, food and religions of other cultures.
My favorite colors are natural earth tones. I love green, brown and burnt orange. I've also started to love the bright colors and jewl tones used a lot in decorating in Mexico.
I love religous images (not religon specific). I also love birds (sparrows, owls, quails, and peacocks), trees, fish, and giraffes. I love grafitti art especially with a political theme. Dia de los muertos is one of my favorite art themes.
I love music with a passion. I love hearing new music all the time. I am really into folk, snger/songwriter, world, reggae and blues. . . anything that has soul and/or strong lyrics. I'm also into anything that I can shake my hips to like latin msic. I'm not too much into rap, hip hop or heavy metal, but I always give new songs a chance. Some of my favorite artists include Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Xavier Rudd, Tracy Chapman, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Dave Matthews, Amos Lee, Ray Lamontagne, The Bravery, Bobby Long, Marcus Foster, Ben Taylor and many many more!
I love getting new recipes. I enjoy cooking and trying new things. I still have not taught myself to like fish though.
Things I don't like: eating fish, white chocolate, flower scented body sprays or perfume.
Things I love: Music, recipes, ATCs, handmade art and vintage, religious and artsy post cards.
