I'm currently teaching English in South Korea. I originally come from Sydney, Australia. I miss home a lot but doing crafty stuff and writing keep my mind occupied! I also work and live with a lot of people who have a talent for the creative arts - a great tool for fostering one's own talents!

I'm very much into photography, facepainting, bodypainting, a bit of cartooning and photography. I'm just starting to get into ATCs and a bit of scrapbooking. I also enjoy cross-stitch and knitting. I also love cooking; baking in particular (I have a huge collection of cookie cutters which I use to bake for my homeroom class).

I like a lot of classics and pseudo-fiction (things like Picnic at Hanging Rock and Rose Red)... I also really like light non-fiction such as biographies, autobiographies and books along the same lines as "Freakonomics" and "On Giants' Shoulders".

I listen to virtually anything - on my playlist at the moment is everything from Hanson to Donna Lewis to Nightwish to Broadway soundtracks to Roberta Flack to Shawn Mullins to Roxette. I'm still stuck about ten years back I guess!

I have eclectic taste, but amongst my favourites are Titanic, Doing time for Patsy Cline, Rose Red, V for Vendetta, The Phantom of the Opera, anything with the Muppets, Look Who's Talking Now, Looking for Alibrandi, The Illusionist, Across the Universe.

I'm developing a liking for certain Korean gameshows, including one where they mock marry off celebrities.

Random likes: -Guinea pigs and pound puppies -Pink, white, black and silver -Cookie cutters -Board game pieces -Really random jewellery (pierced earrings, silver when possible) and hair accessories and 1" buttons/badges -Any scraps of papercraft paper you have which you think are too small to do much with. -Hair dye -The scents of vanilla, strawberry, sandalwood and musk. -Postcards from your hometown and ATCs of any description! -Teaching resources for kids aged 5-12 (anything!)

Random Dislikes -Certain shades of yellow and orange -Peanuts and cats (allergic to both, trace nuts are ok) -Rainy days when teaching -Cockroaches, mice and rats -Doing the dishes -Patchouli scented anything
