Hi, I'm Sarah! I love dance parties, cookies and well thought out color palettes.

My husband and I just recently moved back to my home state of Maine after living in Oregon for four years. I'm loving being home!

I pretty much like anything that I can dance to and I really love hearing new music.

The only things I'm not too crazy about are emo, ska, female solo artists (tori amos, etc), folk and country.

I have really fallen in love with different needle crafts like embroidery, cross stitch and crochet. I also love making handmade items based on my illustrations and always love design.

I recently took a quilting class and finished my first quilt. I can't wait to learn more about sewing!

One time my friend had a party and she bought some plastic tambourines and maracas. We danced all night and played the tambourines so hard that all the little metal pieces flew off.

It was maybe one of the best times I've ever had.

I have a lot of old science and text books that I really love. Some are in other languages and I can't read them but they have the most beautiful illustrations.

I also really love children's books, for the same reason. There are some really exceptional illustrations.

I'm crazy about color. If I had to pick one skill that I gained while in art school it would be a deep understanding of color. I work really hard to make color work in everything that I do, make and design.

Nothing gets me like a well thought out color palette.

It's weird to list things I don't like, but ok:

chocolate, heavily scented things, country/folk style art, monkeys, clowns, pink/purple things...
