I LoVe SumMeR!!!!

Hello sister and brother swappers! After a little break in the action I'm back and ready to swap again! I love getting nice things in the mail and sending them too! I think it makes all of our days just that much nicer!

I'm a busy mom, wife and artist. I feel like I'm going crazy at times but find that doing art projects like this mends my soul and makes me a much better person. I've enjoyed some great college art classes. I love handmade paper, pen and ink drawings, birds, trees, craftsman homes, mexican arts and crafts, religious stuff including shrines, statues, candles, rosaries,... vintage anything, old photos, castles (ancient or made of sand at the beach), bonfires at the beach, funny people... Fav colors are what I imagine would be found in an old cottage in the countryside of France- not so much pastels but soft/deep hues. Enjoy reading "Cloth Paper Scissors" magazine, as well as "Home Companion". The best thing in life is having my 7 year old sons arms around my neck and his cheek against mine! sigh It goes by too fast...

I enjoy almost all types of music! standards, rock, pop, even classical...... in the car I tend to listen to NPR or....ugh ....dr. laura!

Hey what happened to my Mutt's cartoon? rats!

Latest favorite is "ps I love you"... so sweet and in my next life I'm going to live in Ireland! Other favorites are..."Juno","Dan in Real Life" and "Lars and the Real Girl" .... Enjoying a lot of independant films ever since "Little Miss Sunshine". Love all the old classics, anything light is nice- foreign films can be a nice treat! And I'm always up for a romantic comedy. Hate sad movies- Scary yes... gory no!:)Oh and if "Pride and Prejudice" is on...well, sorry, all chores gets dropped!

Would rather be doing some artistic endeavor :)but... I do enjoy The Office, The Nanny, Hells Kitchen this season they're all "donkeys", Kitchen Nightmares (Go Chef Ramsey!)...and I also enjoy Monk.

Love crafting- ATC's, matchboxes, shrines, bottle caps- would love love love to learn to knit and make dotee dolls. I also love paper mache, painting, and stamping, will try anything!

I do love swapping- there's something about making things for someone that I don't even know that gives me a crafters high!

I'm really not too picky as long as your heart is in the right place!

I guess as a mom it's hard for me to write a wish list- but here goes...

Things I can't make and would love:

hand knit washclothes,
canvas bags (trying to not use plastic),
dotee dolls or any dolls for that matter,
hand knit booties, scarfs...

Some other things are...
little purse sized hand lotions,
decorated envelopes,
postcards,
easy receipes,
Atc's and supplies for them,
decorated matchboxes,
unique playing cards, (don't need the whole deck! just a couple is fine!),
bottle caps and bottle cap magnets,
euro morning tea,
any charms to use in crafts,
anything vintage or retro,
anything that you put you heart into and enjoyed making! Those are the best :)

...oh!!! and anything my 7 year old son would like, my older teen girls (16& gulp 21 :)! )would like, my hippie teen son (18) would like, my sci-fi hubby would like....... oh and anything little and fun for our new kitty too!
