I AM GOING TO BE OUT OF TOWN FROM MAY 10-MAY 19. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIGN PARTNERS, OR RATE PARTNERS DURING THIS TIME. I WILL BEGIN ASSIGNING PARTNERS ON MAY 20TH. YOU WILL NEED TO GIVE ME UNTIL MAY 25TH TO GET CAUGHT UP ON RATING OF SWAPS. I APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING WHILE I AM GONE. I am a former elementary school teacher who was placed on disability about 11 years ago due to poor and serious health concerns. I am the oldest of 5 children and I have had to move home so my mother can be my caregiver. I am an aunt to now 9 children that bring me much joy and make me smile everyday. Number 9 is a little girl now,5 years old, from Ethiopia. Her name is Mahriet(Ma-ret). She was adopted by my youngest brother and his wife and their already family of 6.
I like country music. I also like folk music. I am also into Josh Groban and Andre Bocelli. I also have added "The Priest" to my listening pleasure. I am in to rock-n-roll from the 70s and 80s, but have not gotten into the music of the present day. I also like World music and instrumental music especially from Windham Hills--George Winston.
I love romances. I love ones that leave you with a message or with things you need to think about. I love movies that leave you questioning after you have left the theater. I also enjoy movies that make me laugh. There are some children and teen movies I have enjoyed. I am a big fan of the TCM channel which is Turner Classic Movies. I especially like when they have Bettie Davis, Joan Crawford, George Brent, Irene Dunne, Jimmy Stewart, Ann Harding, and Myrna Loy movies. There are others as well, but this gives you a little clearer picture of my likes in the movie area.
My TV enjoyment varies greatly. Here is a list of some of what I watch:
The Secret Life of the American Teenager
Make It or Break It
Masterpiece Theatre Classic and Modern
CSI Miami and NY
Law and Order (any of them)
Switched at Birth
making ATCs and Skinnies
cross-stitch, counted as well
My most favorite color are any shades of purple. A close second are any shades of blue. A close third are any shades of pink.
I browse the computer just about everyday and I have encountered many wonderful blogs that I would like to share with you to explore. You will need to get to them vial Google, more specific Blogs or in some cases a shopping site or regular site. Have Fun with these.
IF YOU WILL NOTICE I ADDED MORE BLOGS AND/OR SITES TO MY LIST. ALSO, MOST OF THEM I CHANGED AS I FOUND SOME NEW AND WONDERFUL BLOGS/SITES. I HOPE YOU WILL FIND THE NEW BLOGS/SITES AS FUN AS I HAVE FOUND THEM. ENJOY!!!!!!
Most of these blogs and/or sites are ones I am trying to visit everyday. But you can certainly make your own decisions. I have a "visit once a week" list and a "visit once a month" list
Hope this is as much fun as it is for me. The reason I like these blogs or sites, is that I get connections to other great blogs and/or sites and also find some wonderful things right at the blog and/or site.
