I have been away from Swap-Bot for a couple of years due to sad, sad times. My beloved dad passed away within a year of heart transplant surgery. I was in an accident, had surgery for an injured back that landed me in a wheelchair. It has taken me awhile to adjust to my new life. Thank God for my husband and my mom. It is amazing what we can overcome. I am back to a place of feeling grateful for my life despite my limitations and inspired by my friends and the creative spirit of this wonderful Swap-Bot community. I only tell you about the past two years to explain the couple of 1's on my profile. Swaps I am currently planning/trying to make amends with. Please don't be afraid to swap with me, if you look at my past record of 5's and hearts you will see how seriously I take swapping and how much I strive to please the people to whom I send a swap. My name is Erin and I am originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. That is where I get my love for sea and mermaids. I am currently living in the beautiful state of Maine. I live with my husband Miller, a handsome guy from the gorgeous and fun country of Jamaica. My mom also lives with us, a wonderful lady who I inherit my love of crafts from. She is a quilter who also loves to crochet. I love to craft, recently I've been making a lot of memory wire bracelets and making collage bookmarks and journal covers. I love beading and paper crafts best of all, but will try anything and enjoy experimenting. I love writing poetry, memoir and fiction. I enjoy photography (although I do it less now) and digital arts.

I LOVE to read. Alice Hoffman is my ultimate favorite author. I am also enamored with Zora Neale Hurston, Alice Walker, Ann Hood, James Patterson (his romances more-so). I loved Stern Men by Elizabeth Gilbert, Illumination Night, Blackbird House and Acts of Nature by Alice Hoffman. Somewhere off the Coast of Maine by Ann Hood. I liked Good In Bed by Jennifer Weiner and the Twilight series.

My favorite movies change but some of them include: Tristan and Isolde, Shakespeare in Love, An Officer and a Gentlemen, Jane Austen Movies--Pride and Prejudice & Emma, The Family Stone, Steel Magnolia's, Danielle Steele's The Ring, Anything with Madea (Tyler Perry is awesome), Rambo II and V, Circle of Friends, Bridget Jones...

I love all kinds of music, anything that gets me humming and makes me more creative. I love reggae, chick music, folk, country, soft rock etc. Some of my favorites are Regina Spektor, Jewel, Natasha Bedingfield, Cat Stevens, Kenny Rogers, Simon and Garfunkel, Sanchez, Tanya Stephens, Rihanna, Sasha, Ingrid Michaelson...

When my husband isn't watching soccer...I enjoy Cold Case, Without a Trace, Storage Wars, Two and Half Men, Law and Order SVU, Golden Girls, Antiques Roadshow, Divine Design, Organizing, Decorating and Crafting shows on HG-TV and DIY.

Another long list :o) Beading, Jewelry making, Scrapbooking, Altered Books, ATCs (new at this but enjoying it), Papercrafts in general, I am a novice when it comes to sewing, but enjoy it very much. I do also like writing, photography and ceramics if that counts as well.

Swapping is so great and Swap-Bot is a great vessel for those of us that love lots of mail. I always read the profiles of those I swap with, even for the smallest swap. I want it to be catered to the individual so they will be very happy with the mail they receive. Personally, I do appreciate quality and thoughtfulness over quantity. I'd rather have one thing you think I'd truly like then lots of dollar store items. • I am in desperate need of some mix cds with some of my fave artist from above. You can't go wrong with me if its soft rock, chick music, folky stuff. I also love musicals like Evita, Les Miserables, anything Cole Porter, etc.... I need something new to listen to!

• Collage sheets--any pics I could use for card making, journal covers, or in jewelry. Prefer: Mermaids, Vintage Diva gals, etc.

• Any Tim Holtz supplies--I would love a couple of distressables ink pads

• Metal charms!

• Anything with a rainbow.

• Something from my etsy faves or something that you can make or have that is similar!!

• 100% Cotton Fat Quarters--the more colorful or whimsical the better! :o)

I hate to be a bummer, but we all have those things that just don't make us smile!

I DO NOT LIKE

• skulls!!

• too much kitty cat stuff (sorry I'm just more of a dog person).

• I like nature but do not prefer realistic animal items.

• Overbearing florals make me sneeze!

• For some reason Clowns and dolls freak me out, always have, so please none of those!!

• Thank you for the thought, but I'd prefer not to receive chocolates or treats, as I'm on a special diet! :o)

• Lastly, I am spiritual, but not overly religious. I do like images of the Virgin Mary or angels in artistic endeavors, but otherwise wouldn't want religious items.
