hi, i'm susie from san francisco. i was originally born and raised in the big apple. i live with my hubby. i consider myself to be a city girl. my profession is in the human services field. i like to travel around the world, it keeps me grounded and to appreciate life more. one country that i enjoyed traveling to is Nambia, with its famous red sand dune desert.

i like cute stuff, especially japanese stuff. i like to buy cute stationery stuff that i can actually use--notepads, post-it notes, gel pens, masking/packing decor tapes, etc. i can usually be found buying those stuff over clothing. i love to make my own things to give away. my dream is to set up my own arts and crafts business one day when the time is right.

i tend to reuse and recycle stuff. i would also like to see everyone else do the same, it makes sense to help the environment as much as possible! i am proud to be living in the city that is pro green--i believe it was sf that started the first plastic bag ban in large supermarkets.

im into most kinds of crafts, but especially into rubber stamping, beading, and paper arts including scrapbooking. i am still learning to use my sewing machine. i love to buy fun fabrics to try to make some stuff.

these are the things that I really like:

• scrapbook establishments (ribbons, buttons, brads, eyelets, fiber, vintage ephemera, etc)

• my favorite colors are brown, fuchsia, granny apple green, aqua blue, aqua blue/red combo & white or cream/red combo

• cute fruits/cupcake/sweets dessert designs

• woodland stuff such as mushrooms, fairies (no Tinkerbell please), gnomes, owls, deer, squirrel, birds, hedgehogs, etc

• matryoshka anything

• retro/vintage/kitsch

• french/parisian designs

• teacup, teapots, tea-time designs

• designs of cute fairy tales, especially little red riding hood and alice in wonderland (not disney)

• fat quarters of 100% cotton fabric of stuff i like above, especially japanese fabrics

i am not crazy about receiving these stuff:

• cosmetic stuff (lip gloss, perfume, lotion, etc)

• edible candy/gum/chocolate/food/powdered drinks

• disney related

• music CDs

• atc's

• dotees
