About Me

I'm an engaged homeschooling mom in south Alabama. I have 3 kids ds10, ds8, and dd6 dss6. We live on a small farm where we have a few cows. I am currently working on my Bachelors in Human Development via the internet, and unemployed for as long as I can hold out! LOL! I'm trying to become more eco friendly and "live off the land" in my own way. Penny pinching is becoming an art form. I've started learning to sew and even made my own mama pads that I'm in LOVE with! anyways, anything else u wanna know just ask

Favorite Crafts

I love the colors Purple, Red, Vibrant Pinks, Royal Blue. I love bunnies and roosters, and anything Whimsical. Polka Spots are great! We live on Polka Spot Farm so anything with polka dot animals would be heart for sure!

I knit, but mostly washcloths, learning to do embroidery and some sewing.

I love dishcloths and aprons, handmade soaps and creams. I do not like anything that smells of purfume. Love the fragrance of vanilla and citrus fruits.

Wedding

Right now I'm planning a wedding for the spring of 2010. I'm collecting dishes with a wheat theme, silver and crystal/glass candle holders, small cut class or crystal dishes that could hold pillar candles. Right now i believe my colors are going to be Red and a deep turquoise. Our reception will be in our open barn, and hopefully we will have an array of hats for guests at our reception.
