Mysteries. Any author from Conan Doyle to Poe, from Christie to Cornwall. Some Historical fiction to stories about Quilts and Quilting. I love to research areas that are of great interest to me.
Black and White mysteries to romance, from the 30's and 40's. Modern day T V series' on DVD fill in the hours on a rainy day.

Quilting comes first. From there, I expanded to Counted Cross Stitch, Altered Books, making of my own Christmas cards, ATC's, jewelry making. I also like to paint unfinished birdhouses and picture frames. Some are called "Altered Art". Just started to do collage on artists canvas.
I love to cook and have a rather large collection of Cook Books. I love to find books printed by Church Groups. They offer the best in various areas of the country. I also just started to collect Paint By Number paintings. They are pure and rather nice. I also have a large collection of Tea Pots and vintage hankies. Santa's and Jim Shore figurines fill my bookcases.
Any thing with a scent. No caffeine, chocolate or milk products. Don't have time for allergic reactions !!!
I tend to lean towards blues, yellows and creams. I like to use black and white in my quilts and I also use bright, wild colors in my quilts. Tans, yellows, oranges, and whites round out the list.
