About Me

I love to be inspired by others! I love vintage items, jewelry, print, mixed media....I am not a crafter extraordinaire like some but hope to be some day! I'm not into "country" crafts, but love anything on the "offbeat" side....I love handwriting/handwritten letters. I love postcards.I am intrigued by architecture, yet know very little about it.

I love buttons, sparkles, glitter, rhinestones - life's about being sparkly! I love vintage postcards. I like small trinkets. I love all kinds of music, stationery, stickers, photos. I love taking pictures. I love funny! Wine, beer, baked goods - all the wonderful things in life!

Favorite Music

I LOVE music....I am fortunate that I have a job that I can listen to music all day long. I love classic rock, alt rock, bluegrass, big band, swing, 70's disco, 50s bubblegum, almost everything. Not big on new country. Trying to like Jazz.

Favorite Books

I love books, especially dictionaries and old history books. I love to read horror, suspense and everything in between. I do not like romance novels. Some of my fave authors are: Chuck Palahniuk, Dan Brown, Clive Barker, Michael Crichton, David Wellington to name a few. I also love Karen Smith.

THINGS

I LOVE: kitschy, rockabilly, vintage, punk, offbeat, funny, skulls, zombies, monsters, butterflies, cats, my bulldog, recipes, cookbooks, scarves, animal print, the color red, purple, fresh cut flowers, being outside, candy, baking, glitter, paper, old photos, old books, candles, nail polish in funky colors, stars, hats, fun socks, HALLOWEEN, old sheet music, old advertisements, singing in the rain, show tunes, and southern food........for starters.....LOL.

Comment: Did you ever consider combining your interests and becoming a paranormal investigating ballerina?? :) I'm amazed that most of the people who have sent me their answers so far have October birthdays. I had to re-read the children question several times though - I thought it was saying you had your first at age 4!! :)
Response: I think a paranormal investigating ballerina would be bad@ss! I may look into that....and the kids question - LOL I realized I should have clarified and said, I had my first child when I was 20 - not "I just turned 20"....I got a jumpstart on things....
