Description:

So many of us have been regular partners of one another throughout the year, you all feel like friends to me. I hope you share my impulse to send a holiday greeting and slip in a small surprise, something that doesn't need a package. Make yours a holiday card appropriate for the season whatever your partner's belief system is.

Suggestions: a card of buttons, a few skeins of embroidery floss, a pack of needles or a needle book you've made, a fabric postcard made by you, a mini seam ripper, half a dozen 5x5 charms, some sew on labels for your creations...you can think of other little delights.

We will have two partners.

Great idea!! Could I ask for a Hanukkah card? This year it is from December 8-December 16. Of course I'm more than willing to send my partner the appropiate card for their belief. Thanks

I think that should be a great idea to let your partner that you would like to receive a Hanukkah card!

I'm partnered with 1leemeadows and Chanoeka cards are had to find here in my village. I've PM-ed her with the following options: 1. I just follow the guidelines of the swap and send you a Christmascard

  1. I will see if I can get a Chanoekacard on Wednesday Dec 5th and it will arrive after Chanoeka

  2. You give me an alternative for the Chanoekecard, maybe a typical Dutch card???

  3. I send you an E-Chanoekacard and send the surprise separate

I hope I don't get rated down for not sending a Chanoekea card (if I can't find one) as I signed up for a Christmas card swap......

I think the problem is solved: @sherheart offerd to send a Chanoeka card to 1leemeadows! how nice of her :-)

I will send my end of the swap with a typical Dutch card.

again Thanks @sherheart !!!

@Alphenstamp I would never rate anyone down, have a hard time giving a 1 for a no send. Why don't you do an e-card or a winter theme, either will work for me. This is suppose to be fun.

I will send a winter themed card Lee! thanks for understanding how hard it is to get a Chanoeka card here.

@1leemeadows you are a mensch :-) if you don't mind I'd like to see if I can make you a handmade Hanukkah card. Maybe one that depicts my love of challah bread :-)

@earthnk I love handmade cards, cherish each one that has been sent to me, it is an art I was not gifted with, but admire those who have the talent to do so. Would love a card with the challah bread. Thank You for your kind words and deed they are a healing balm. Shalom aleikhem!
