Number of swap partners:2
Description:

I'm borrowing this idea from a public swap that looked really fun and easy.

You will have two partners and will create and mail one postcard to each.

Your postcards should be made from clean paperboard packaging that would otherwise end up in the recycle bin. For example, you could use the boxes from:
* cereal
* crackers
* frozen pizza
* pop (or soda or, if you're from Texas, "coke")
* microwave popcorn
* beer (many microbrews have beautiful packaging)

Click here to see some examples.

Send your postcards naked and written on - maybe a note about why you chose a particular box, or just a simple hello.

This swap is US only but anyone is welcome to host an international version.

Please let me know if you have any questions - or suggestions. (I've only hosted private swaps, so I welcome any friendly advice.) =)

Must it be a food item?? I have something non-food related that would be fun for this. If it's just food, no problem! Thanks! : )

Good question @susieq11 :) No, you are not limited to food-related stuff - I was just trying to come up with a clever name for the swap, and I liked how that sounded. Hmm... maybe if I do this again I'll go with Paperboard Packaging Postcard. ;D

Thank you @Zuzu !!

Ha...down here in Georgia, everything is coke also. Typical Southern conversation:

  • Person A = "Do you want a Coke?"
  • Person B = "Sure."
  • Person A = "Okay, What kind?"
  • Person B = "Sprite"

LOLOL....

Paige, yep - same in TX ;D

When I ask for a pop down here in Florida, I get strange, quizzical looks.

In Canada, we use pop, soda, soda pop, and soft drink interchangeably. And we all know that Sprite isn't a Coke. lol

@TerryF I bet you have a wonderful accent (I mean to me), probably to you I am gonna be all "HoneyBooBooish".

They say us Ohioan's don't have accents....they say.... ;P

TerryF 02/15/2013 #

lol I think everyone has an accent - to someone from somewhere else!

@Paige1900 , I am sure you will sound just like @gooseberry . (";)
