Description:

Every day can be a great day if we take time to notice the little things that make us happy. This swap will help you take a moment each day to do just that. PLUS you'll get to know a fellow swapper, and end up with five new postcards for your collection!

Starting on Sunday, Sept 9, 2018, write on a postcard about something that happened that day that made you happy or helped to make the day great. Be specific! Don't just write "my kids" or "coffee with friends" - this should be a mini journal entry. Date or number the card and pop it in the mail the next day.

Do this each day for five days. (So mail Sunday Sept 9's card on Monday Sept 10, and so on, mailing your fifth card on Friday Sept 14.)

Postcards are sender's choice, but they should be different each day. Mark sent after you have sent all five (so Friday Sept 14, which is the swap deadline). Rate your partner after you receive all five postcards.

This swap requires a commitment to sending five postcards (naked) to your partner - one each day for five days. If you don't have time or ability to write and mail daily, this isn't the swap for you. This is an international swap, so be sure you're okay with potential postage costs.

Participants must have a rating higher than 4.8, at least 10 rated type 2 or type 3 swaps, a well filled-out profile, and NO no-sends in the last 6 months.

What a clever idea! I can see a whole mini binder full of happy cards. Will you continue this swap?

I love this a million.

Love this idea!

I'll be passing on it though, for 2 reasons. I can't afford the postage if I get an international partner and I'm having surgery on the 7th, so I don't think I'll be having a "happy" week following....lol.

Have fun everyone!

@TereDiane1954 - If it goes well, I don't see why not! @AnnieNotSoBig - thanks! @institches - I'll be sending you healing thoughts; hope the surgery goes well!

I love this idea! But I don't join International postcard swaps - the cost is just too much. :( And, my local USPS seems to be eating and collecting all my mail rather than delivering it. :( :( :( But the idea is wonderful!

@tereDiane1954 how do you find a min-binder to display them in? I have been looking for months... I hate just putting them in a shoe box. Could you message me if you have the time.

@kelsue62 I actually just saw mini albums last week at theTarget dollar spot ($3), check it out if you can.

@kelsue62 I've pm'ed you :)

@Bucket will you allow postcards made with my photography?

Bucket 08/29/2018 #

@TereDiane1954 - should be fine! PCs are sender's choice for this one. Just as long as they're different every day!

Great, thanks!
