Yeah, a reason to hit your thrift store! WOOHOO! Go pick out a nice, gently used cookbook of your choice and send it to your partner. Just make sure it is in good shape and NOT a small cooking pamphlet. Pamphlets are fine as long as you include a real cookbook too. Hard-cover or paperback is fine. The thicker the better!
