Hi there! =] I know there are some of you out there who have certain craft supplies that you just don't know what to do with. It may be a pack of charms that you can't use, but would not want to throw out, or colors of clay that you just have no use for. For this swap, you will be givin one partner. You can send them any craft supplies that you don't have a use for, or have too much of.

Some ideas: Ribbon Clay Charms Buttons String Scrapbooking supplies Stickers Chain Fabric Yarn Findings Beads

ANYTHING!

They can be new in the packages, or opened/lightly used. Make sure they're nice things please.

There is no minimum or maximum to how much you should send. Just send what you would like to receive yourself!

Be generous if you'd like to receive a heart!

This swap is for UNITED STATES ONLY! Sorry, I may host an international swap sometime soon.

I ask that you have at least one completed swap, and a good rating. I hate to ban people, but if your profile seems iffy I may have to.

Please comment with things you absolutely would NOT like to receive.

HAPPY SWAPPING!

I'll start! I ask not to receive scrapbooking supplies, just because I have no use for them. Also, please no popcicle sticks, pipe cleaners, or anything like that. (If I do receive some, please don't be offended if I re-swap them) =D

I just went through all my supplies and pulled out everything I could send to someone. I ended up with a large flat rate priority sized box. Problem is most of it Is scrapbooking items. So Tasty what kind of items are you hoping for if not scrapbooking items? Everything but the clay you listed under ideas is a scrapbook item. I need some ideas of non scrapbook items. LOL! Thanks!

TastyTreats 11/ 9/2009 #

When I say scrapbooking items I'm talking about those giant pieces of paper and those scrapbook sticker things. I can absolutely use yarn, string, charms, beads, buttons, anything else really. I don't scrapbook, so I'm not sure how else to use the paper lol!

I scrapbook, but have WAY too much paper, so, will be most likely sending some.. but definitely don't need any. charms would be great, but I have soooo many buttons, brads, snaps, etc... I can include those in my package as well!!

I do love to bead... I mostly use glass, crystal, and clay beads..

don't know if it's a craft, but I am learning LOTS about bento... and it's one of my favorite things right now.

but my all time favorite thing right now is knitting and crocheting!!! (I knit for veterans!!) - (AND I'm knocking out my xmas "shopping" real quick by making really cool and personalized gifts for my family and friends!!)

Thanks for clarifying! I guess if I had to pick something I DO NOT want it would be stickers, fabric, yarn, basically sewing supplies. I would LOVE vintage stuff--doesn't have to be real as long as it looks old. I have a hard time coming by Ephemera stuff. Wanted to join a swap, but you have to have some to get some. LOL! pout

I'm pretty flexible about what people send. I can use almost anything in my class.

BrennenB 11/10/2009 #

Oh, I hope I get someone who needs yarn. I have some I don't know what to do with.

I would LOVE scrapbooking items. I could use some fabric, but nothing too small. FQs would be great. Beads would be great as well, just not into pony beads or seed beads. I don't do much with clay, but a little to try out would be ok. Embroidery floss, iron on designs for embroidery/cross stitch are good. I don't do counted. I would go nuts for sure! I guess, if you get my name and have questions about items I haven't thought of and listed here, you can but don't have to PM me before you send. : )

i would prefer not to get pony beads or brads... i would love some sewing supplies (thread, fabric, bias tape) and some fun fibers! jewelry finding and paper would be okay with me, and some rubber stamps would be fun too! thanks!

nursechris 11/11/2009 #

I love to scrapbook. Am just now learning to make cards but scrapping is my fav! I'd love to have some pastel or bright colored buttons for kids pages, embossing powder, brads, stamping items, chipboard, mini scrapbooks, or solid scrapbooking papers.

BrennenB 11/11/2009 #

Nice list nursechris! Ditto for me. Also, thread, bias tape and sewing items other than small scraps of fabric would be great for me too. Again, if you get my name and have questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks. : )

Since everyone's commenting things they would like to receive, I'll do the same! I would LOVE some pony beads, polymer clay, cute fabric, tiny beads, ribbon, or anything else thats cute! I'll love anything of course <3

BrennenB 11/11/2009 #

So, can I assume that those who have not commented here will be happy with anything they get? If not, speak up. Partners will be assigned soon and I'm ready to send just as soon as I get mine.

Yodi414 11/11/2009 #

I do not need any paper, beads or sticker. Okay to send about anything else.

wolfeagle 11/11/2009 #

Ill take anything. Especially vintage photos, ephemera, wool roving, fibers, beads, charms, colored buttons, ribbons, yarn, old broken jewelry to use in art, tins, plastic animals, old or broken dolls, scrabble/game/puzzle pieces, wings,.....sewing items, whatever.

ladydy5 11/11/2009 #

Please no paper stuff. I no longer do ATC's or scrapbooking. I am into fabric, threads, broken jewlery. I make ornaments and dolls. Love to get scrabble pieces to make jewelry with. Something you make is okay too that you have hanging around. Love all kinds of jewelry. Love old postcards that are not written on or black and white postcards.

***********UPDATE*************

I've been getting questions about how much to send. Any size is good, but I say at least a small box or bigger. For example, my swap partner is going to receive a box about the size of a medium flat rate box (wether or not i use the flat rate box will depend on how heavy the stuff is).

nursechris 11/12/2009 #

Thanks Tasty! That helps!

BrennenB 11/12/2009 #

YES!! I got a crocheter. SWEEEEEEET!!! I better go buy a lottery ticket today.

CarrieZee 11/12/2009 #

Hi everyone-This is going to be really fun!

I'd love things related to rubber stamping - stamps, particularly anything by Ranger/Tim Holtz of KC&Co. I love fun fibers, twine, brads, gems, etc. I love interesting papers, vintage book pages, and vintage children's things. I don't do anything with fabric and have plenty of beads. Can't wait to put m box together. :)
