I am a loud 26-year-old redhead who loves to make life fun for myself and others. I try to be creative but am not always successful. My favorite holiday is Christmas, of course, followed by Halloween. I love getting homemade items. I am a serial candle buyer. I just can't help myself. I love knick-knacks. I'm a yard sale fanatic! Can't pass up a bargain. There are no commercial craft stores or a Target where I live, which is very disappointing. I have to drive 100 miles to get to the nearest ones! I love the the dollar item sections in those stores. I love all $1 stores as well. In fact, they are probably my favorite place to shop- after yard sales of course. However, I'm not a fan of thrift stores. I don't have any pets and don't particularly want any. I'm not a smoker. I love getting mail! I work at an academic libray though I am not a librarian. Don't have the degree it takes and don't want to go back to school right now. I value a close relationship with my family. I prefer winter to summer, but really love the fall. Oh, yeah...and in case you can't tell from my name (it's deceptive) and profile, I'm a girl.
I will try almost any craft once. I LOVE all paper crafts- scrapbooking, card-making, stamping, embossing (heat & dry), etc. I have tried my hand at ATCs and have been very pleased with the few I have created. I haven't been cranking them out though. I think inchies are a bit too small for me. I tried it once and didn't like the results. Maybe I'll try again later. I love lots of stationery items as well. Anything from post-its to colored paper clips to colored pens. I can always use lettter sets and notecards. I like to read- especially Nicholas Sparks. I also enjoy non-fiction and historical fiction. I am in 1 serious book club right now. I enjoy cooking- especially baking. Sugar cookies are my favorite to make b/c they can be decorated in so many ways and decorating is always the best part. I'm very into presentation though you might not tell by looking at me. I also enjoy good old home-cooked comfort foods. Not a lot of ingredients please. No gourmet for me. I live in a rural area so shopping for exotic spices and such is difficult.
I don't like coffee or coffee scented items. Also, not a fan of musk scents. Please don't send me food items unless I specifically sign up for a food swap. Even then, I prefer milk chocolate to dark. I hate herbal teas! I can't stand buttered popcorn. I do like caramel or kettle corn. Please don't send religious items. No toe-socks please. Or tall socks. Socks crew length and shorter are fine. I don't do traditional picture puzzles. I hate page-a-day calendars. Aside from these things, there's really not much I don't like. I'm pretty easy to please. That doesn't mean I won't be disappointed if you skimp on a swap.
I have pierced ears. I have a very weird sense of humor. I like owls and tote bags. I like snowmen for winter/Christmas. I collect pjs and fuzzy socks (shoe size 7). I have one younger brother (younger by 20 mos). I have a great relationship with my mother. She is my best friend. I am single w/o children. I love to pamper myself. I don't need expensive salon treatments. I'm content to give myself a manicure, pedicure, facial, etc. I don't have a computer at home. I use the one at work. I don't have any food allergies that I know of. I cannot eat spicy hot foods. I eat meat and prefer poultry, then beef, then pork. I don't eat fish/seafood. I like licorice. Not twizzlers type but black jelly beans and such are fine. I watch a lot of movies b/c I won't pay for cable.
...music: country, but I also like pop rock

...not so fast-food restaurant: Pizza Hut
...outfit: jeans, hoodie, fuzzy socks
...I had more patience
...I could keep my foot out of my mouth more
...I weren't such a packrat
...I saved more money
...I had more money to begin with
...took more time to volunteer
...I got more things done
...I didn't have to write everything down
...I could make myself get out of bed earlier in the morning
-- I'm cleaning this up a bit. A big "Thanks" to those who have sent something special from this list.
Also, if you notice something on my profile that later disappears, sorry. Don't hesitate sending an item I've removed after you determined what to send me for a swap. I will still like it later. I'm just trying to keep my profile fresh by adding new ideas and will be getting rid of older ones in the process so my profile doesn't get any longer than it already is.
-- A VERY special thanks to Lucia (I don't know your member name) for the purse hanger. If you read this, please PM me. Thanks a bunch!
-- I would love a tea bag rest!
-- Foam adhesive- I love the stuff.
-- Postage- Anywhere from 1 unused stamp to as many as you want to send would be much-appreciated.
--A fabric button making kit would be awesome!
--Notecards. I had a little accident and ruined all my collection. (I spilled a full glass of tea on the whole batch. Aarrgghh!!)
--I would love Pink's CD Funhouse. I especially want the song So What?
-- Close To My Heart denim set stamped images- This set is discontinued and I don't have it, but would really love the jean pocket and button images.
I really hate to have to use the "F" word on swap-bot, but they made me do it. FLAKERS!! Here are the people who flaked on me and links to the swaps they flaked on. These could also be considered "things I would love to receive"...finally!

A note to my partners: I feel that it is the responsibility of the SENDER to mail a swap within the allotted time frame and it is the RECIPIENTS responsibility to rate what they receive accordingly. I will always rate just as soon as I possibly can. Please feel free to contact me if I have not rated you for a swap or if you have not received a swap from me.
