Description:

Have you exhausted the stores in your area looking for interesting postcards? Why don't we exchange? For this swap, you'll send unused postcards in an envelope. Send 2 cards to 1 partner.

This should be a fun swap. It promises to give each of us some fresh postcards to use for your next PC swap. Cards may be store bought or hand made. DON'T send the tourist type cards depicting a specific place.

Be sure to mark the envelope "do not bend" so the post office will take extra care.

Hi, Please read my profile and see if you have the kind of cards that I am in need of for my collections...Thank you

On another post card swap I saw these sources for buying different kinds of postcards. It would be a great source to get some fresh postcards to send. www.zazzle.com/postcards VisionWorks www.changingworld.com/catalog/index.php Syracuse Cultural Workers www.syracuseculturalworkers.com/

What do you mean by "don't send the tourist type cards depicting a specific place" . . . does that mean no lighthouse PCs that say where they are, or no monuments, cities, beaches, etc. that say where they are and are tourist places? Can you give some examples of PCs that would be acceptable? Thanks and this sounds like a great idea and thanks for hosting ~~

I collect city/skyline/aerial views, waterfalls, beach/oceanfront views, lighthouses.....

I collect maps of cities, countries and lighthouses. I have all the states map cards. However there are lots of different maps of states. Thanks in advance, Linda

Tinker60: I had in mind the kind that show a specific city or state. Since these are 'new', unused PCs, I didn't think people would be interested in getting something they couldn't (or wouldn't) send out as it seems to say ''I live here".

From the other messages though, I see that some people collect specific places. Forgive me, I'm fairly new at this. If your partner specifies in the comments that they DO want a specific place, that would be fine. But I don't think anyone should be given a lower score because they didn't.

I think I'll set up another swap for places. Watch my profile! :)

I agree with AndreaJ - Syracuse Cultural Workers have some very nice and unique cards! I just bought a group from them. I also bought some wonderful cards from Pomegranate.com!
