Hello everyone!
Update January 7, 2021: Happy New Year my Swap Bot friends! Crossing my fingers that 2021 will be a Great new year for everyone! COVID - GO AWAY!
Update: December 11, 2020: I won't be joining any swaps until after Christmas. Preparation for our Christmas here will take up all my time and I don't want to miss any S-B deadlines! I Love Swap Bot and all of my S-B friends! Merry Christmas everyone!
Update Dec. 10, 2020: I rec'd an envelope today from Evan I. There was no note showing the Swap it is for. After looking all over, I cannot locate what this is for. Either way, THANK YOU!
Update Oct. 22, 2020: Remember that USPS delivery is slow due to mail in voting. I Always send early or on time.
To all, I have noticed difficulty with Ratings that I do "Sticking"! Please know that I always rate within 1 day of receipt of swaps.
Update Nov. 22, 2020: I have been asked to add a "Likes" section to my profile. I am so easy to please, that pretty much anything makes me smile. Here are a couple of suggestions: Favorite colors: Blue, Aqua Love all animals (as you can see from my profile below i live on a farm). I also adore birds, especially bluebirds. I like Washi tape, blank notecards, postcards from other countries and sticker sheets (no reward or child ones). I enjoy a nice cup of tea, but do not like to receive food items. I don't like loose glitter!
Update Sept. 16, 2020: Mother Nature was kind to us this time! Hurricane Laura missed our area (not even a drop of rain), however my heart is sad for those affected by Laura and now Storm Sally. As the saying goes "Been there, done that"! It's awful to go through!!
Alpacas: I get lots of questions and comments on my profile image of alpacas. Unfortunately, I have had to give up on raising alpacas as it is simply too HOT where I live for them to do well. So, "Baby Neo", "Nilla" and "Paloma" had to go up North to cooler weather. I miss them!!
Updated August 26, 2020: Waiting to see what Hurricane Laura (Cat 4 strength) does. So far, it appears the worse will miss where I live. Swap mail from our area will be slower than normal.
Updated July 17, 2020: I am slowly working on swaps now. I am only doing a few at a time, quite different from before Covid. So far, so good........
Update: Beginning June 1st, I am going to Slowly start swapping again. It has been a Long shutdown and I will cautiously start back. I am excited - I missed Swap Bot!
March 1, 2020: PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME ANYTHING until the virus is gone.*** I plan on beginning to start swapping very minimally on June 1st.
Well, the Corona Virus has my husband and me self quarantined. I am wary of parcels and envelopes so am taking a "RECEIVING" break from SB for a bit. I will continue to send out to those that still want envies or pkgs. Having been in our home for over 2 months with NO contact with anyone, I know what i send is fine. It's just who handles it following! Mail Carrier - I am looking at YOU! :-)
I will continue with a couple of groups but on a very limited basis - sending only. Be well all my SB friends!
First - IF you don't receive a swap I have signed up for in a reasonable amount of time (postal delays, etc. especially international), Please let me know before giving a low rating I will resolve it one way or the other - and if I need to - will resend! I do not flake! Also, if you get a pkg "postage due" Please let me know and I will reimburse you! I try to do my best, but we are all human and make mistakes! Thank you!
** Note: I prefer not to receive food items such as candy and chocolate ** Also, please NO Glitter. Thank you!
I live on a "farm" of 30 acres and enjoy caring for lots of animals! My animals include horses, miniature donkeys, pygmy goats, chickens, turkeys, and guineas! It is plenty of work but much reward. What a crazy week it has been! 6 baby goats have been born - 2 single births and 2 sets of twins! (Update: they are a 3 months old now and we have added 4 more babies! ) They are super cute! I used to own 3 Alpacas but found it is too Hot and Humid here for them to do well so they have been re-homed to Dallas area North from me. I miss them bunches!
I live in South Texas where there is plenty of heat and humidity. My husband and I are retired, but work harder than ever before! There is always plenty to do here! Recently, our spring garden was planted and I am always happy when that is finished! It's a ton of work, but I love the tomatoes! :-) I enjoy sending postcards around the world and the excitement of receiving them also! Swap-bot is fun and I really enjoy it. I always want to send on time and also Rate! If a mailing gets lost, I will resend. I will not flake! Please give me a nudge if I miss something! Also if postage is owed when you receive, please let me know and I will gladly reimburse! Thanks!
I love to travel. My husband and I have been all over the USA and some of Europe. I've been to France, Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Russia. Generally, we do not have hotel reservations or an itinerary when we go... we just GO! Such fun and we travel light with only a backpack. Our most recent trip together was to Alaska in August 2019 and it was a wonderful experience. I was excited to see a Moose and a gray hump back whale. I never dreamed I would see those! My last trip was to Las Vegas - in January 2020 with my sister from Nashville. It was great fun as usual! Next trip: DisneyWorld (IF and when the CoronaV gets outa here!)
My birthday is August 14th and I am always excited to find others with the same date - so far I've found one person from Swap-Bot who shares the same date!
I enjoy going to off Broadway shows. My all time favorite is The Lion King. I have seen it many times and I also love The Phantom of the Opera. I recently (finally) got to see Les Miserables! Wow! What a great show! My daughter and I saw CATS in October and the last show I saw was a local production of Dickens A Christmas Carol - it was great! My daughter and I have a tradition of going to see it every year. I saw Jersey Boys in London a few years back and really enjoyed that also! The next play is Fiddlers on the Roof next month. (Update: Theater is closed due to CoronaV).
One of my hobbies - I have many - is doing Mosaic tile projects. Maybe I can find a swap? I hadn't thought of that until now!! It is very time consuming but rewarding. My latest project was a 4th of July Tray of the American Eagle. It's very intricate and slow going, but I love doing mosaics! I haven't decided on the next project yet.
I love anything with horses, miniature donkeys, and especially goats!. Animals take up most of my extra energy during the day. So I love any farm animal themed stickers, bookmarks, etc. I am also "addicted" to washi tape now that I have discovered it (I need animal tapes and also any color solids)!
I don't have many dislikes except scary things or creepy, gory, witch, etc. I do like Harry Potter along those lines but don't consider that scary. I prefer not to receive candy or edible things. Teas are good tho! I also don't like glitter (especially loose) and absolutely cannot stand balloons! HA!
Everything I receive is a surprise and I appreciate the effort it takes to participate in the various swaps and love it all! I truly appreciate all the effort swappers put into packaging, spending their time and money to send to me. Thank you!
A little history - my nickname comes from the 100 year old church my husband and I bought several years ago which will become a wedding chapel that I have named "2Hearts Chapel". It is the oldest building in the small town I live in and sits under 100+ year old Live Oak trees planted in memory of soldiers lost during the 1st world war. We have completely renovated it with new hardwood floors, ceiling fans, paint and a large antique (from the late 1800s) church bell. It's lovely! I hope my wedding venue will be up and running by late summer.
Finally, again, If you haven't received your package in a reasonable amount of time, it probably got lost in the mail! Please message me before rating a 3 or 1! I will make it right! I live in the country and the post office is, you know... The Post Office! :)

Thank you for your letter sharing your hopes, and the thoughtful treats for my November WWishlist. The embroidery floss is great: I didn't have either color you sent. What a delightful surprise! I appreciate the care you put into this for me, and it was nice to hear from you. ♥
