I'm a wife and mom, grandma and great-grandma. I'm a Christian. I'm really a farm girl at heart (we live in the mountains of Southern Oregon, raise sheep and chickens) and I've been crafting in one form or another for years. I love calligraphy, rubber stamping, watercolor, ATC's, card making and experimenting with new products and techniques.
I've been married for 49 years to the love of my life and my best friend! (Where does the time go?) He's great, and is always on the lookout for interesting things for me to use in my crafting! I love my doggie (shepherd mix) who helps with the barn/sheep chores and a black male named "Inky" that is my favorite barn cat!
Chocolate is a favorite (natch!!) and I enjoy a good cup of tea which I have in one of my tea pots by the fire each night! (I like all flavors of tea, but camomile is NOT a favorite :)) I love to read. (see below).
I collect cookbooks/recipes, tea pots/cups, and antique dishes. I like to sew quilts, aprons, tea cozies, and other "simple" quick sewing projects.
I like vintage ephemera, hand made papers, pretty paper of all kinds, nature items (like leaves/small shells, etc.), Asian images, small embellishments for cards (buttons, charms, beads, vintage items, flowers, etc.), tea, tea cups/tea pots, and bird (especially rooster) images. I also like sheep images, (we raise Dorsets, and they're all white). Die cuts are a favorite.... especially Tim Holtz AND PAPER.... did I say paper?? I love all kinds (K and Company and Graphic 45 are special..... but I like them all), textures, patterned, plain, bright, soft..... you get the picture!
I like all colors, but fall colors and natural colors (browns, creams, yellows/orange/reds) are a favorite)... I'm really not choosy every color has a place in my work! :)
I like all kinds of card magazines (Stamper Sampler, Card Crafting, Paper Craft, etc.), enjoy cooking and cook books/magazines using "down to earth" basic ingredients (all Taste of Home magazines!), and like to read: light hearted contemporary novels (Mrs. Polifax, The Cat Who....), good Christian fiction (Dee Henderson, Karen Kingsbury and such) and ART MAGAZINES/STAMPING MAGAZINES (of course!!). We don't have TV.... so reading and crafting are my "pass-times"!!
"Cutesy" Images (like Hello Kitty,etc.). Please do not send me dark or risque images, please, nothing Halloween. Wholesome images only, please. Though I like most all kinds of tea, Camomile is NOT a favorite. Thanks!
If you don't receive a swap from me......please, please, please pm me!! I want to be sure everyone gets what I promised to send to them!! The mail sometimes is "funny" :) (I guess) and so I would rather re-send something than have you go without or be disappointed!
Flaked on by @VintageDreams for the Colored Owl Series: Brown Owl ATC

(Instructions for me! Taken from TPD group forum..... with many thanks!)
to link type:
[name you want to see] (URL of what you want to link)
remove the space between the end bracket and the beginning parenthases.
if I want to link the homepage to Scraptopia I would type:
[Scraptopia]remove the spaces here(http://www.swap-bot.com/group/7d4c6bdacb401445fdc2260f833421fd/about)
Clicky link for a web page:
[any text that will become the link] (the web page address starting from the http bit) written without the space between the last bracket and the first parenthesis. Like this but without the space:
[This is a link] (http://xkcd.com/) .
A picture:
! [any text if you want, can also be left blank but the brackets need to be there anyway] (the link to the picture starting from the http bit and ending in jpg or whatever the picture format is) written without the extra spaces.
! [The Nerdy plushie I made] (http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4092/5114738623_a61ebd58cf.jpg) .
Bullets:
Add a dash and a space before each line.

Patty - Thank you VERY MUCH for the huge load of beautiful lime & turquoise papers!!! The textured ones will add such character to my project - I am excited to start it! I especially loved the ones that are not exactly lime or turquoise - those will give me the range of shades I need!!! You are very kind and generous to think of me. ♥♥♥
